I was also wondering why no-one considered what the locals would do to her after she killed the dungeon. I get that you don't want to Spoil anything with what she Might do in that situation But it feels weird to me that No 1 considered it, They know that they guard the dungeon And search you after. So it almost feels weird that they would let her go In that situation You think at least maybe They would be in the same town to back her up Even if they couldn't join.

Hey, thanks for the writeup :) I'll answer what I can without spoilers. Eliyen doesn't actually know the exact layout of the dungeon personally - she purchased the map along with the permits. Killing the boss or wiping out the dungeon was presented as an optional quest - she's asked to do it if she can. The primary quest is to retrieve the mushrooms. Recall Potions do work over any distance, provided you have enough mana (or money) to pay for the cost *and* the receiving location has enough mana to power it. Cost is proportional to distance. In this chapter, Ali's potion was confiscated by the official to be returned to her later. (I omitted mentioning this explicitly, but perhaps that's an oversight - I might make an edit for that). For #3 - a lot of folk have questioned the ethics of summoning intelligent monsters. I'll just say that summoned monsters are an extension of the summoner's magic in this system, although a number of people in the story would be weirded out by fighting summons that look like them. I cover this more later in the story.

appologies in advance if I'm over-analyze stuff. But I was bored and here are some thoughts on the story 1. Alis task to kill the dungeon doesn't really make much sense. It's unfamiliar terrain (underwater), she can't use most of her established minions, no backup from her party aso. So she is at a severe disatvantage she doesn't even know where or what the dungeon boss is (which seems rather odd, considering that Eliyen's clan used to manage the dungeon and she even was familiar enough with it to draw some map, shouldn't she know where the "heart" of the dungeon is located?) Also since Ali is alone, and has only a few hours (until she runs out of water breathing potions or they send someone to kick her out), it's very unlikley that she can clean out all the monsters in the dungeon, so killing the boss would trigger a dungeon break and endanger the whole region (although maybe a water slimes dungeon break is not that dangerous?) also, her killing the dungeon would probably be noticed, and then she is in some foreign city, not even in the same country as Mirrins Keep, with a pissed of lord and somehow has to go home. Even if they don't just kill her for destroying the source of their wealth - all they have to do is delay her returning home, by e.g. imprisoning her, for 10 days and she will die from domain withdrawl. so she can only go home with the help of some space mages I assume recall potions as exit strategy don't work over that distance since otherwise people could just buy recall potions from the city they want to visit and don't have to bother with expensive space mages. And even if they would work, they would probably not allow her to take one into the dungeon since they are so paranoid about people smuggeling stuff out. and finaly, it's completly unneccessary to take all that risk to kill the dungeon. Just smuggeling the mushrooms out is enough. Because than they can break the monopoly on the purified water, makeing the dungeon mostly worthless. (Suggestion: the mushrooms are in the "bossroom", and Ali is forced to fight the boss, but she wasn't explicit task with it/went into the dungeon with the intention to kill the boss). to clarify: it's fine if she somehow stumble into these situations that are set up, but it's crazy that his is the actuall plan and she, and her friends (especially Calen who is the strategy guy) agreed to this as the actuall plan bc that's a suicide mission on paper (without any real need, bc like mentioned she just needs the mushroom imprint) --- 2. If "dungeon farming" is actually a thing, the reaction Vivian had when learning that Ali is a dungeon is kinda weird. While she did realize that Ali is incredible valuable for the guild, she was (at first) all about "she's a dungeon, she's dangerous and has to be eliminated". If it's not uncommon that guilds manage dungeons, and in this case the dungeon in question is actually friendly and can be talked to, it's seems somewhat out of character. Granted we don't actually know that much about Vivian, she seems to had some very bad experience in a dungeon before, but that this would affect her judgement that much that she considered killing a girl, who could also be unimaginable valuable to her guild makes her look very irrational/emotional, and I had the impression that she's some kind of older, cool headed/experienced Adventeurer that wants to help people. --- 3. With the introduction of Havoc (holy knight goblin), it became clear that goblins aren't just some evil monsters but also people, not really different from humans, elves, fae aso. same is probably also true for kobolts Ali doesn't seem to have a problem with summoning goblins, so would she also be ok with summoning humans etc.?
