Multiple parts? I'm a bit surprised. > Worthington Glimmerbuckle Huh. I had considered it, but I wasn't really expecting a segment from his perspective yet. > he would never allow this Jax Hawkhurst to see just how much he detested him or his miserable little god-forsaken town Uh oh. > subject himself to the unwashed masses desperately looking for handouts Can't say I like this Worthington guy.... > there was no way he was ever coming back here, that was for certain You *sure* about that, Worthington? > As soon as he settled up with the innkeeper, he would be one quick teleport away from the comfort of his own home, and the shipment which must be waiting for him in his warehouse by now. Better hurry up, guys! > Grinning at the prospect, Worthington left the offices of the dinky Hawkhurst Trading Company, fervently hoping that he would never be forced to see them again. Hopefully they make it in time! Worthington probably *is* correct about not needing to see the Hawkhurst Trading Company again, at least. > if anything, the dungeon clear sped up as they grew more confident with their group’s ability to handle more monsters simultaneously than seemed entirely reasonable Heh. > “More than… fireball?” This reminds me of that one series of skits on YouTube about a D&D wizard obsessed with Fireball. > It took three incarnations to put the Phoenix of Living Flame down, but even then, it hardly slowed them down, and so, before they had even used half of their remaining fire elixir duration, Ali found herself staring in on the Corrupted Fire Drake’s slumber. Half of the duration remaining from the previous chapter, or half of the duration of a new fire elixir? Either way, they should still have been in here less than two hours, so hopefully nothing should have respawned yet. > Corrupted Fire Drake – Demonic Dragon – level 99 (Hellfire) Level 99? Woah. Also, wouldn't be surprised if this thing was corrupted by the Pit Lord's Corrupted Blood, given the "demonic" trait on its species. If it's a thrall, though, why is one of its minions trying to prevent things from getting out of the rift? > Make sure you get hit by it every other pulse at least,” Ali said, glancing pointedly at Malika. > “Right, I remember. Don’t dodge it,” Malika said, offering a somewhat theatrical wince. LUL > “Same plan as last time, just with more… everything,” Calen observed drily, “except any actual dying. Strictly forbidden.” LOL > ring. It had a mithril tip, and the shaft was a dense tapestry of incredibly intricate runes – when he had laid eyes on these in the Pathfinder Guild Store, he knew he had to have them. Unfortunately, he had only been able to afford one. Perfect for an initial shot, though! > He was relatively certain one of them had to be vitality, given how much health the drake had Finally getting Ability Enhancement (Vitality) would be really nice! Here's hoping Novaspark Academy manages to hold up Worthington leaving somehow. I think Donella knows why Ali is challenging the dungeon, so she might take it upon herself to delay Worthington. That might not fit Donella's personality, though. Even better, what if Worthington arrives at the Novaspark Academy just as Ali and her party are leaving? Hilarity ensues!

Also, Ali‘s group should be teleporting in around the time that he is teleporting out, so there are coincidences possible

Worthington is returning to the Inn and isn’t that where the trolls are staying?
