He likely can't raise ali's mother because she destroyed herself to save ali. He was seemingly planning to do just that with her at the start of the story. Neyn doesn't need Ali alive, he just needs her body intact.

Scott McCarthy

Thinking about this after reading today's chapter, but how big a mistake is Keiran making here? If an undead with this magic was sufficient wouldn't thr Lich have just raised Ali's mum and been done with it? The entire encounter from the start reeks of the Lich needs her alive, and the necromancer who attacked (and Mori along with several members of the town should have been able to kill, so why give in to his demands) wanted Ali alive, not as a corpse which should also be a to a "take her alive" desire. Is he trying to do something that will get him killed based of assumptions instead of asking for confirmation?

So personal answer, I think that Naia slimes aren't as connected to her one the soul level like Ali's are. It's possible Ali would have to release the creatures, befriend them, train them, then reabsorp them. Which has ethical implications

Right, just commit murder heh??? Most of the leadership is not corrup. The mayor, the dwarven treasurer, the gnome mage all seem to be fine; not necessarily in agrement with Ali but fine. Hell, Vivian is on the council. The leader of the council, the lord who is the king's representative isn't necessarily corrupt either, although he is clearly biased against Dungeons (and presumably working to get the King to overwrite Ali's citizenship). That doesn't make it ok to kill/murder him. Also, doing so and taking over would bring the rest of the Kingdom down on them. Presumably the king has servants well over level 100 who would crush them.

Also naia is so close to freedom, also maybe slime-person evolution...?

It's so nice of Tala and Mori to gift Ali with new Imprints to learn, one of em is even an annoying counterspell like mage. And even if she doesn't learn the races, she should be able to get her kobold new skills from there level 50+ classes....she might also want to have Ryn find class books to see if she can bolster her minions even more as she learn about classes, there skills and what makes them tick. So, Naia's monsters do level up. I wonder now what's up with Ali's monsters. We haven't seen any level-ups for them, so I'm assuming they can't. But Ali really needs to get some higher level mages, especially considering how effective the fire mages still are, despite their low levels.

Ali only made one boss for the AG but it cost too much mana reserve. She's overextended on monster summons. They don't have to kill the leadership, just the watch. Also let the crown's lackey know his son died at the hand of the watch so he's off the kill list, or not. But the question is, what did she summon and leave behind to grow in the nature mana pool environment?

Ali still didn't make her raid bosses for protection, right? I'm not sure she can defeat those attackers with just usual mobs. Really hope she makes some before they come over. Also hope Ali's party will be in time for the fight, but less chances of that. Although I'm all for supercharging Ali's growth with high level kills for a bit, she needs more mana. Also I'm impatiently waiting for them to kill all the leadership of the city and take over. Apparently that's what it will take to cleanse it and the added benefit would be no annoying nobles in the background.
