Well, he was powerful enough to cause the downfall of dalmora. And that was millenia ago. Think of how fast Ali grew. That's a lot of time to power up

Matos becoming an tree looks like one way it can play out , then Malika and calen ca ND start the feedback loop and hopefully bring in his mentor and maybe Azyertgained enough reputation for divine intervention if things get dire,Ali should be able I think to Rey and "Counter spell" the avatar and the death knight....If only Clarence was here he would be the goodies of boys that would beat em all

I think Malika will be the MVP of this fight if not already.

> “Aah yes, ever the hero. You cannot lay down while these weaklings might be in danger, can you?” Nevyn Eld said with a biting rebuke. “How about I remove them? Then will you die?” Typical villain monologuing. > You have been afflicted by Life Drain.
Maximum health is reduced by 7%. Yikes! > Yet Lyeneru had entrusted them with this task. They would not fail. This is such a great line. > He’s much stronger, she thought as her punches slammed into the resilient ebon-gray withered flesh of the just-born Death Knight. Alright. Sounds like Tol'brekk wasn't evolved before. > The Bear’s shoulders squared up. Suddenly, she realized it was about more than just finding some Clarity mid-battle. Somehow, from somewhere, Mato had rediscovered his grit, his confidence, his heart. Maybe he didn’t believe they would come out of this alive – and eyeing the Lich and the Death Knight, Malika knew the odds were stacked against them – but everything in his posture proclaimed – it roared – that he would not stop battling until his last breath. Super cool paragraph here! > Whatever foul magic the Lich had wrought had brought Tol’brekk back to a semblance of raging unlife, and, if his Explorer was not playing tricks on him, had empowered him further with the magic of the domain. > “He’s a raid boss now,” Calen announced. Tol’brekk had been ridiculously powerful before his ascension, but now he had been forced to evolve, raised as a Death Knight, and upgraded to a raid boss. There we go! > Bubbles of blobby crimson with outlines of arms and feet and instinct faces pressed up against the inside of the membranes holding the blood together. instinct -> indistinct > Blood Thrall – Ooze – level 81-84 x28. Woah. That's a lot! > From her new spot, Ali waved the quartz wand in her right hand, and one of the Ice Trolls accelerated dramatically, ice bolts flying from her fingers almost three times faster, causing the thralls to freeze and shatter at a phenomenal rate. Ooh! Nice use of Winter's Desolate Celerity!

Well, killing the death night should be a significant feat for their evolution

Wait, this entire problem was caused by The Avatar of The Litch this entire time? How powerful is he to do all this with a mere avatar?

I think that the lich will lose here. Because it's not the real lich. Lyeneru called him an AVATAR.

Thank you for the meal. It was delicious

Thank for the chapter. At least one more part for the battle, another for the "Last Stand" against the Lich (or more likely, How to Retreat Safely.....), and then everyone is Level 100 and ready to Evolve..... But, personally i would hope that Ali, can "grab" the Shrine before leaving, to earn the "Revert" enhancement for her Shrine, to "Heal" the Guild Leader (Miranda? Veronica? Vivian? Fuck can't recall her Name......), and i also hope that Ali instead end up Levels 99 and the others Levels 95-97 (in the surrounding of those Levels....) so that they can "Kill"/Help/Cleanse the Drake from the Fire Dungeon as a Last-minute Achievement before "Classing Up"......

Subtle Entendre

Thanks for the chapter. I'm suspecting at least one more complication, though.
