If codpieces get to be widely acceptable pieces of armor, boob armor should be fine. It's way better than stuff like chain mail bikinis.

Meh. Yet people do not complain about the male version, which due to all the same curves, maybe not so pronounced across the breast region, they don't have a problem. I mean, the whole idea of the muscled cuirass did continue into Roman armour, at least for generals and the like... Personally I think it's a "boobie" issue, like you can't accentuate the figure without someone thinking about titillation. But, hell, that's my opinion.
