Temple of the Harvest
🕑 Added 2021-01-21 20:51:50 +0000 UTCI've been brainstorming my Sophia visual novel idea for a while, and have decided to make the tentative title Temple of the Harvest, after the ruins that Sophia explores in the game.
I was thinking about the game's "morality" system, and how doing certain actions would influence Sophia's personality archetype. Doing more selfish actions would cause Sophia to develop a more gluttonous archetype, in which she's very grumpy and she can eat a lot more, and also burps a lot more. But doing more selfless actions would cause Sophia to develop a more motherly archetype, in which she's much kinder but she develops a mom-bod and it becomes very hard for her to lose weight. These would influence the narrative a great deal.
I'm hoping that writing it this way would encourage multiple playthroughs, and I strive to fill it with all sorts of fun fetish content. What are your thoughts on this?

I've definitely been considering that. I'd have to see how it ties in with the rest of the story.

Maybe the gluttonous route could end with a vore option? Could be interesting to see.

I was actually thinking along those lines. Like the scenes where she'd be passing gas, if the gas is turned off her belly would just be rumbling and she'd talk about being gassy. As for the popping, I was thinking there might be a scene where she's pushing herself really hard and getting really bloated, and when it gets to the point where she might pop, she would just say it was too painful to go on and stop, if popping was turned off.

Hmm okay. How about this as a suggestion. You can turn on or off gas (farts) somehow and if you have it on. The pictures/animations don't change, they just have a sound effect and maybe visual onomatopoeia of a fart as well as the burps that would have been there normally. And for the popping, maybe similar? Like if you have popping on the "bad end" has one more scene where Sophia 'splodes and wakes up, then going right back to the ending. That way your only missing out a small scene, and for the gas your not missing anything without it, and yet it can still be enjoyed by peeps like me who love gassy girlsband pops.

For the project I'm discussing? I'm actually hoping to do some videos of it as I'm developing it, since it is a really big project. I'm also hoping that, when it's finally done, someone might do a let's play of it. If not I might do one myself. We'll see.

I was thinking of adding gas or bursting to the game as something optional to be enabled, since a lot of my followers aren't into that and a lot of them are. But I'd like to figure out a way where it would feel natural to both have that kind of content, and also not have that kind of content, without it feeling like something is blatantly missing or censored, if that makes sense.

Sounds cool! Tho I'd also like if the selfish one came with some toots as well! Another thing I'd like is maybe a perfect ending/ bad ending? One where she doesn't get affected at all and one where stuff goes wrong and she silly pops as punishment maybe? Multiple ending things are always exciting and cool
