Getting closer to finishing "No Heroes"

Sorry this clip has been taking so long. I wanted to give you all an update as to where I'm at with it. As of right now, what I have left to do is: 1) add in some rumbling sound fx (and perhaps a little bit of shakiness if need be); 2) balance/mix the audio between fx/voices/music/Cali's dialogue. Beyond that, I am almost done! I am hoping to put in a lot of work this week, and my hope is that it will be ready to release next week :)
On a more personal note, I've been battling a serious spell of depression/anxiety for a few months now, so I've had this awful habit of opening up the file, beginning to edit it, and then immediately thinking I was doing a terrible job, and attempting to re-work the entire thing. I tend to be super self-critical, so I kept thinking about what I didn't shoot, and how I would have done some things differently if I were to shoot it again. However, apart from beating myself up about my own misgivings, I do think there are a lot of cool things about this clip. Apart from its limited interactions, I think Cali's performance is very good in this, and I love where she took the idea (she said she is used to being given very specific ideas and acting them out, so it was almost challenging for her to be given complete narrative free reign haha).

Much love <3. And that's certainly true, especially in regards to having avenues for discussing macro film-making haha. Thank you so much for the message though, it really does help to know that there are folks out there who care beyond just for the "product" so-to-say :)

Absolutely. Thank you for being understanding. It's something I've managed since I was a teenager, although without health insurance it can be a bit hard to find folks who are accommodating in terms of therapies and so on. But thank you for the offer, it means a lot! <3

What Alex said. =) Depression and Anxiety can be debilitating, especially when it comes to self-esteem and your creativity. I'm also always available if you want to chat! Maybe you don't have a support system in place for your macro film-making endeavors, given that it's likely a separate slice of your life. Except, you do have a support system - us! You have my discord. =)
