"No Heroes" should be out tomorrow!

Hi all,
Thank you for all of your patience and continued support...I really needed it this time around. So long as nothing goes wrong with rendering, I should have this out tomorrow (Friday) later in the day (or, if there is something wrong with rendering, early Saturday).
Per usual, I will give you my honest feedback and assessment:
The positives:
- Cali's acting! I think she did a really great job with this one, as to be expected.
- I am mostly happy with the aesthetics of the clip in terms of color correction and what not (apart from the GoPro...which is also to be expected haha).
- I think the scenario was ambitious and interesting. Once the clip gets going past the intro, I think it has a nice linear flow and buildup.
- Collaboration! In general I just think it's cool when any producers work together (even though this was just being granted permission, I still like the idea of bringing together the different worlds of producers...because I certainly don't have a mechanism to put Cali into a model city haha).
Self-critique:
- As mentioned previously when I released the unaware b-side clip, I sorta wish I had only focused on shooting this clip instead, because the rushing led to not collecting enough cut-away footage that I would have liked to use when I needed to fill something in. One of the reasons why it took me so long to edit this clip was that I did not have enough footage to pull from when a transition didn't work (or when there was a slight mishap in consistency). Thus, I had to come up with some clever tricks in order to make it work.
- I wish I had more establishing shots. One of the reasons why I reached out to Gary from Giantesszone in the first place was because I felt like I needed something to raise the stakes in making her feel like the giant we all know and love. In this way, I hope that the cuts back and forth work for people...because although *I* think it's cool, some folks might find it challenging.
- I'm not sure if I had enough "interaction" for what people like to see in these clips. A lot of this clip is the set-up trying to set the stage for the final pay-off. Although I had Cali casually eating people throughout (as a means to keep interactions abound), I think that I probably should have had her eat people more consciously and cruelly as opposed to so nonchalantly.
...With all of that being said, I hope you enjoy the clip! As much as I can be hard on myself, I know that there are still a lot of things that I love about this one...I mean, it's Cali Logan haha. And don't forget, you'll be getting this one for "free" even though I will still post the link (just because I like having the record). I am going to try to upload it to YouTube *and* try to upload it to a drive where you all can download it as well.

The feedback is always nice to hear! I know some folks are less inclined to comment or message on Patreon as opposed to on a forum, but it is always nice to hear from everyone, so thank you! I've felt bad about not having much content to post for y'all this month, but I am hoping that this clip can make amends :) I take seriously the fact that anyone who is here has donated their own funds towards this, and it's something I respect immensely. But I'm glad that you've noticed a progression! I'd like to think I'm getting better with each clip in some way that I can carry over to the next shoot :) Part of me hates putting my own criticism out there...because I don't want to cloud people's viewings if they wouldn't have noticed something...but at the same time, I want people to know that I am most likely also consciously aware of something they're noticing, and I am probably trying to avoid it haha. Plus coming from any form of academia, I recognize that my own work is always 10x better through being honest and getting feedback. I appreciate you, so thanks for looking out for my mental health.

Can't wait to see it! Hope you are doing a bit better and this release hasn't added extra stress. We're behind you every step of the way. And I really appreciate your ability to self-reflect in a critical way, it's a wonderful, admirable and humbling thing to do - and no doubt contributes to the continued quality improvement that can be seen throughout your filmography. From the Lens clips I've seen, I am VERY impressed at just how cinematic this one looks and feels!
