Thanks! I'm hoping that its impact should lessen once there are other noises in the mix :) And same! Something I try to do before shoots is ask models what they are comfortable with in terms of acting (if they think they are better at xyz types of characters vs. others, or how comfortable they are with dialogue), because I'd much rather work to someone's strengths than ask too much of them. But I also agree that there is something interesting about not knowing what someone's intentions are, or what is behind their gaze when they are silent!

John Williams

fantastic. Music isn't *too* distracting, which is good. I don't know why, but I love the somewhat stoic, silent giantess. I don't mind some dialogue here and there, but a lot of what gets written for these women to say comes off as trite and a bit disingenuous. Anyways, straying too far from the point. This is excellent work dude, thanks for keeping us updated!

Thank you! <3 I hope so! I still have a few little tweaks to make here and there, especially in terms of stabilizing some of the footage, but I am definitely happy with those walking grass POVs! I wish I could have spent more time establishing where all the people are in the grass in the beginning, but they were too small to register for any long moving shots unfortunately. And yeah, without sound it is a totally different experience haha. Far less immersive! Speaking of your comment about John Williams, I know that Rian Johnson released a silent film version of The Last Jedi with the soundtrack only, and it's super dope to see how Williams colors the scenes! Super interesting to scan around and see how much stuff you'd never notice but that adds so much depth haha.

This looks absolutely amazing. A classic in the making. The sense of scale within the grass blades is mind-boggling. The walking scene near the end is a 10/10. Cannot wait to see this in its final form! Although such a fascinating experience watching it with just music. Reminds me of the idea that you can watch Star Wars with no dialogue and sound except John William's soundtrack.
