Expectations

For a little while now, I was beginning to notice myself hitting a bit of a creative wall when I was trying to work on new clips. However, I think I've found a solution that has jump-started me back into action (in terms of feeling good and passionate about what I'm doing again). In essence, I've decided that I need to turn some of the old clips I've been working on into b-sides. Roughly, this will account for about 3-4 of the 6 upcoming full length clips I have shot.
In the past few years, I'd like to think that I've grown a fair amount in the quality of videos I am producing, and some of the old clips possess way too many mistakes that I cannot overlook. I'd like to think I've learned a lot from these failures, and will take these lessons with me the next time I am able to shoot again.
The only difference is that this time I am going to focus more on taking it scene by scene, so that I can hopefully release things a little bit faster than it would take for editing an entire full length video (I don't plan on wasting time finding music, for instance). I was even thinking that when I'm done with this, I can put all of the b-side files into one longer, downloadable clip for everyone!
One of the biggest reasons why I feel like I need to do this is to reset my brain, and have a sort of clean slate of content that I can feel good about releasing into the world again. In fact, I've already noticed editing has become more enjoyable again, which is super refreshing.
Thanks for the support y'all, it doesn't go unnoticed or unappreciated!
