Yeah, I saw S2 around 3 years after S1 ended and I was flabbergasted by the current situation in those first few episodes. All I will say is...buckle the fuck up cuz S2 is a train with no Stops till it's over LOL. The CRAZY TRAIN HAS TAKEN OFF!!!

Yall mightve missed it but the reason why the Emperor let Lelouch live and go back to Japan was to lure CC and capture her. Remember he has been looking for her ever since episode 1 of last season when Clovis was had her. He knew that CC would try to rescue Lelouch so he had his personal agents follow and track all of his movements waiting for an opportunity when she would appear. Thats why called Lelouch “bait”.
