I agree! But it's a way to slow down the story line, just like certain tasks do. It also gives a bit of a sense of reality because to get around in real life you have to walk the route. Obviously in a game if it's too exaggerated it also ends up tiring too, it needs balance... It's a complex topic and it also varies from each one's preference. That was just the first thing I thought of when I saw the implementation and decided to share it, but it's not a big deal

but spending time for travel is not substantial: you increase the playtime because you have to click more buttons, not because of content

Content can always be added, like random sequential encounters on the streets. I can't wait to see what's coming 😁

I like the idea of being able to travel faster, but it also means the game ends faster if it doesn't have a long story line and/or complex tasks to compensate. I personally hate to sit down to play and finish like 10 minutes. I'm not saying this will happen, I'm just sharing my concern based on other games I play. The only thing I didn't like was the design. These square images don't match, maybe it would be better if they were round or with a color filter.
