In the OG, I think they tried to show that Knives' white energy only destroyed organic matter, leaving towns intact but empty of people, while Vash's black energy destroyed inorganic matter, leaving structures devastated but people alive. I don't remember if it was portrayed in a similar way in the manga, but it's clear that here in Stampede, they've developed something more complex.

Whoa, things got pretty crazy there at the end. Reminded me of Cloud and Sephiroth in Advent Children at some points. (For those who know.) One Winged Angel~ Anyway, wow - this show was SOOO different from the original, I can barely compare them! I think it was really cool how the adapted it into this more sci-fi leaning story - but I do miss the light hearted character moments from the original anime. Even at the end, I never really cared for the characters, but I was really interested to see what would happen. (Why was Roberto even in this show?) I'm really curious to see what they do in Season 2. Thanks for the Reactions, guys - it was fun!~
