Physics Mod Pro V143 - Ocean Foam
🕑 Added 2023-03-29 17:35:38 +0000 UTCOcean foam is finally here. Big thanks to null (creator of Arc and Shrimple shaderpack) for helping me with this feature! IMPORTANT: the quality of the foam highly depends on the settings (in ocean settings). You will have to set them based on your shaderpack (if the foam is too bright at night adjust the opacity too). Sometimes you need way less foam opacity and sometimes way more.

Iris Compatibility: Minecraft 1.16.5/1.17.1 requires Iris 1.4.2 or lower.
IMPORTANT Ocean Physics Information: Only use a maximum of 12 chunk render distance. Anything higher could result in big lag spikes.

Smoke Physics Information: Minecraft particles have to be enabled for it to work! The further away you are from smoke sources the less particles spawn. Temporal Anti-Aliasing (or TAA) can cause issues with the smoke so disabling it will eliminate some visual artifacts. Not all shaders are supported (best results that I've got are with BSL shaders).
Snow Physics Information: Optifine is not supported (use Iris + Sodium on Fabric/Oculus + Rubidium on Forge). High render distances on slow CPUs might result in delayed snow tracks.

- UPDATE (a): Fixed foam being too bright in caves
- UPDATE (b): Fixed shadows being messed up with oceans when using Optifine and specific shaderpacks
- UPDATE (c): Fixed ragdolls causing insane ripples (which would cause lag spikes) when falling from a high distance
- UPDATE (c): Fixed snow having wrong lighting information at night when placed at max y level

It depends on the type of shader you use, BSL is an example of a shader where the splashes and foam occurs as white/ grey-ish.

the mob physics doesnt work with fresh animations unfortunately can this be fixed
