i learned in the meanwhile to cut of parts in zbrush. Without keys though, but good enoug for me.

the only thing about her challenging to print now is the hair. (upside down print will do the trick) but maybe for the fiture - thicker hair?

bro, cutting a model and with proper keys is one hell of a challenge

I know...it would be sick if the head was separate though. I printed the bust at such a large scale and I'm the world's worst masker, can never seem to get clean lines

The busts I have don't have split pieces, just the main model

I usually do it in zbrush and it's not that easy to explain, plus zbrush is not a free program

I know Minthara can be a bit snarky and is a bit evil, but cutting her head off seems very excessive.

idea for future: make a tutorial to cut of parts with free software so we can do it ourselves in the future. Don't know how feasible this is for someone without 3d design skills.

Is the head cutting for painting? Printed just fine for me, though the ropes on the base could have had better support as it was a pain to cleanly clip them and I still needed to do some repair lol
