Progress Update
🕑 Added 2025-05-23 08:14:56 +0000 UTCI've taken some time to relax with my college semester finally over. Over the past couple days, I've begun chipping away at progress finishing up the final playtest, but its been a little slow because its all been setting up the new (and very expansive) configs and then integrating them in, as well as some other useful alterations for some internal variables to help with consistency.
Suffice to say, its been a lot of tedious, boring work that's causing me to be a little slow with things. That being said, I am trying my best and hope to have everything finished this weekend!
In the meantime, I wanted to share a few new general configurable options that will be added in the playtest with you guys!
Global Digestion Goal: with this variable, you'll be able to change the default 12,000 (is getting increased from 10,000 that it was before this playtest) digestion progress needed for digestion to occur~
Difficulty Affecting Digestion: with this enabled, the value digestion progress needs to reach will be 15% higher in easy mode and 15% lower in hard/hardcore mode. (Will be ON by default)
Ignoring Swallowing Thresholds: with this enabled, the swallow threshold stat will be entirely ignored, meaning you'll have the chance to be eaten no matter what health you're at or what armor you have on! (Will be OFF by default)
Belching After Digestion: with this enabled, preds will gain the carbonated effect for 15 seconds after digestion, meaning they'll burp up 2 items from their stomach inventory if possible~ (Will be ON by default)
Bones From Digestion: with this enabled, when a prey is digested, 1-5 bones (chances scale with prey size) will be added to the pred's stomach inventory, with a rare 8% chance to also add a skull for large enough prey~ (Will be ON by default)

Totally random suggestion came to mind, but by any chance is there a way to make it so that if someone has the corpse mod on, then predators could spit up a skeleton instead of the player's model?

These sound amazing, though may I butt in with a suggestion? It'd be suuuper hot~ if a belch played as a pred's digestion animation is either finished playing, or about to finish playing. It'd be even cooler if it were animated burps as well, integrated into the digestion animations. Super stoked for the playtest!
