SCHOOL SPIRIT has launched, along with special bonuses!
🕑 Added 2022-02-14 22:58:35 +0000 UTCHoi! So as you've seen already, SCHOOL SPIRIT is now in session (page 1 linked)! The whole comic will be released publicly upon completion, but those who sign up for $5/month and above will be able to read new pages as they're made! (est. page every 2-3 days)
Let's discuss rewards!
First of all, even though the post only mentioned rewards for $10-tier patrons, $5-tier patrons will also be getting some goodies too! (surprise!)
- I will be opening a post very soon for $5-and-above patrons to drop submissions for an idea prompt. The specific query will be revealed when it's posted, but it's going to be pretty open-ended and I imagine is gonna get a lot of responses, which is the point! It will remain open for a vast bulk of the comic's production, you'll see why when it comes out :D
- Soon after that, I'll also be taking submissions for short dialogue as just some chatter between random background characters for a page or two. Will again come with a prompt, but it will be around for much shorter before closing bc it will be used at like pages 6-7.
Now if you REALLY wanna dip your hands in leading this comic, these are the $10-tier rewards!
- There's a very special montage page near the end of the comic, and I have written the opportunity for folks to contribute around 6 vignettes that will be featured! This will have quite a long process to aggregate ideas based on the prompt, so if you're interested, be sure to get on this early!
- I will need around 10 designs for background extras (schoolgirls, as you'd probably expect lol). Will be opening a post later for details, but yeah this is your opportunity to do a YCH (or just some other faces that you think would be fun for a laugh). As you might expect, this will be in limited supply; reserve your spot ASAP!
- Relevant to that last one, I'll also be taking in a few namedrops for a frame or so. Need to fill up some background details with names, would be fun to have folks contribute theirs or whatever lol.
Also a very broad note that this comic will have an end credits page, so if I involve any of your ideas, I will be sure to credit you at the end!
And one last particular thing...
By the time the comic is complete, if we reach over 100 Patrons, I will add in a bonus epilogue page, just a fun little extra detailing the aftermath! Also while that image above just lists that, I'm considering also adding a 120 patron goal for a second aftermath; that might not be realistic but I'm thinking about it, we'll see how this comic goes haha
Keep in mind, the 100 patron goal also ties to my broad milestone reward of setting up a vote for my next longform comic after SCHOOL SPIRIT is done! If you really wanna see more of my work, spread the word, and we can do some really fun stuff together!
