Raven: Jinx's Extra Credit Assignment (part 3)
🕑 Added 2021-03-25 05:16:17 +0000 UTCWhen Raven woke up, her throat was sore, her chest hurt and her head ached. It only got worse when she opened her eyes, took a deep breath, and tried to make a sound.
“Unnhhh…” she groaned in utter misery, shifting on her cot. She could feel a nasal canulus in her nose, feeding her oxygen from a tank beside her cot.
It didn’t take her long to realize she wasn’t in her room in Titan’s Tower. Her cell was as dark, but less gothic, more spartan and sterilized. The walls and floor were the same color of calming off-white, her cot a surprisingly comfortable memory foam that was mounted on the wall. There were a few panels in the walls and on the floor, but other than that the cell had no other features at all. There was no toilet, sink, or even a door. She appeared to be completely sealed in.
The idea of being trapped didn’t bother her as much as other people. If her captors had truly sealed her in a room with no way out, she could simply ghost through the floor. Or dig her way out with her power, if it came to that, but only after she didn’t feel so completely awful.
Groaning again, Raven forced herself to sit up, propping herself against the wall and curling her legs into her chest. The movement tugged at the nasal canulus and she pulled it over her head and tossed it aside in annoyance. She felt like she’d run two marathons back-to-back, her muscles aching, lungs feeling simply spent. It was the joker venom. She’d probably been close to convulsing and laughing herself to death when… someone had saved her.
She shook her head and scowled; someone clearly had put effort into keeping her alive. Besides the oxygen tube, there was an electronic bracelet on her wrist with a red light that blinked in time with her pulse, next to other readouts monitoring her heartrate and respiration. The fact they wanted her alive was only a slight relief, mixed with the humiliation of not only being beaten and outwitted, but also owing her life to the one that trounced her.
Some of her purple hair was matted to her face from having slept on it all night. She brushed it behind her ear and smoothed it down. It was clear she’d been captured, most likely by Jinx, but she wouldn’t waste her time feeling embarrassed. She would handle this situation just as she would any other: with calmness, focus, logic, and her own power.
Raven crossed her legs and straightened up off the wall, laying her hands on her knees in a lotus position. She took a deep breath, her chest shuddering as she did so, then closed her eyes, feeling inside herself for her cool, emotionless center. She would find it and relax, let her mind empty, focus only on the logic.
As she tried to meditate, her brow began to wrinkle in annoyance, scrunching around the red diamond on her forehead. Her pounding headache was making it more difficult to focus than usual, like a drum beating in her ears while she tried to sleep. With a force of will, she pushed the pain away, letting it slide into the background. She sank down into emptiness, oneness, a dark nook that was entirely hers.
She had just reached it when her cot abruptly retracted into the wall. It snapped away so quickly that she didn’t even bump into the wall, just fell straight down and landed on her butt.
“OOF!” her eyes snapped wide and in her surprise she fell back, banging her head against the wall. She blinked, so startled at first she couldn’t even be angry, but only at first.
“Up and at em, Ravy Baby!” a familiar voice rang out over an intercom.
Raven’s head snapped towards the pink-haired girl standing outside her cell, upper lip curled in a snarl.
The far wall had turned transparent, like thick glass one might see outside the pen of a dangerous zoo animal. On the other side of it, Jinx grinned in at her like one of the zoo’s patrons, cat-like eyes narrowed with smug satisfaction.
Raven glared venomously, brow lowered and lips a tight line.
Jinx pressed a button on the now-transparent wall, which from Raven’s side looked like a glowing checker box.
“Big day for you today,” she spoke, voice coming over the intercom, “It’s your inprocessing day! The day your file gets moved from the enemy combatants directory, to the neutralized prisoners directory. Everyone in the HIVE is very excited, you know.”
In comparison to the dark circles under Raven’s eyes and her messy hair, Jinx was bright eyed and chipper, her hair freshly done so the two horns stood tall and shiny, even wearing some make up to add blush to her cheeks. Her costume was clean, tights immaculate, and in addition she wore a new, freshly dyed pink coat that looked very familiar.
Glowering, Raven stood up, pushing against the wall and using it to support herself. Once on her feet, the room spun and she closed her eyes for a second, having to fight back another moan. She leaned against the wall and pinched the bridge of her nose, breasts heaving as she took deep, calming breaths.
“Need to use the bathroom?” Jinx offered cheerily, “Wash your face?”
She pressed another button on the wall and two panels on the floor and wall, opened to slide out a toilet and sink, post-modern designed and very clean.
Raven frowned at them. If nothing else, this was the most high tech prison cell she’d been in.
“No?” Jinx pressed another button.
A different panel opened and a stainless-steel tray slid from the wall. On it were a pair of metal bracers, linked by a glowing red filament. They were held at a 45-degree angle in customized slots, easy for someone to slip their hands inside and be manacled.
“Then just try on those little bracelets,” Jinx said, “And we can skip along to the first station.”
Raven squinted at the manacles over her bridge-pinching fingers, then at her grinning captor. She didn’t respond or move to obey, still considering her best course of action.
After several seconds, she decided to speak.
“Wh-where…” her voice was rough and she cleared her throat, “Where are we?”
Jinx’s grin broadened. She slowly shook her head as if disappointed, but there was obvious delight in her eyes.
She pressed the intercom button again, “Tsk tsk tsk. You’re not in Titan’s Tower anymore, honey. You’re a HIVE prisoner now.” Her eyes narrowed, “My prisoner. And when I tell you to do something… you don’t ask questions.”
Pain, shocking, stabbing pain lanced from Raven’s neck, directly into her brain. She stiffened and cried out, banging her head into the wall, her hands leaping up to grab at a metal collar she hadn’t realized was latched around her throat. It felt like someone had lit a fire inside her skull that began spreading through the rest of her body in rhythmic waves of agony. Her muscles clenched and she continued to cry shrilly, so surprised by the sudden pain that she hadn’t even considered restraining herself.
“Did I forget to tell you about the prisoner collar?” Jinx chirped, “Oopsies! You’re wearing one.”
The shock vanished and Raven slumped to the wall, gritting her teeth as the waves of burning pain slowly receded. They faded, from blazing agony to prickles and needles to dull aches.
“All the high value prisoners get them,” Jinx examined her fingernails, “Teaches them manners. There’s lots of aspects to being a HIVE prisoner that people don’t get right away. Like instant obedience.”
As the pain faded entirely, Raven felt along the collar, trying to see where it locked in place. It was so snug to her slender throat she couldn’t even wiggled a fingernail into the gap and felt like it was made of thick wires welded tightly together. Grasping around it from back to front, she could feel no seal; it was like one solid piece, but for a round watch-like display beneath her chin.
Jinx leaned closer to the “glass”, grin broad and smug.
“It doesn’t come off, Raven. If you try, it will send a massive shock to your nervous system that will turn you into a teen vegetable.” She giggled, “It’s your new, permanent accessory. I hope you like it. Your friends will have them too, once they try to save you.”
Raven’s violet eyes blazed in the girl’s direction. She thrust out her hand, fingers formed in a claw.
“Az—AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA-AAAAAAAAAAAAAH!”
The agony returned with a vengeance, bright white and searing, much more intense than before. It didn’t radiate through her as much as roast her entire body from the inside out, the hapless girl letting out a cry several octaves higher than Jinx had ever heard from her before.
“Ooh,” the HIVE member pursed her lips, “Yeah, it’s even worse when you try to use your powers. Can’t have you doing that at all.”
Raven dropped to her knees, her body bowing in a desperate, strain that thrust out her chest and thrust back her hips. She shook as her nervous system went haywire, then her body began to sag, eyes rolling back in her head.
“I’m so forgetful today,” Jinx sighed, “But no harm done. You know now.”
This time when the agony released her, Raven went limp as a rag doll. She fell forward onto her chest, cheek bouncing off the floor before lying still. The fall must have hurt, but she barely noticed it, mind in disarray after the collar’s punishment. Her only movement was occasional twitching from the pain’s aftershocks.
“You won’t have to worry about your powers too much longer anyway,” Jinx told her, “I’ve been working on something to fix that for you. A little extra credit project outside my classwork.”
Raven’s conscious mind slowly returned and she let out a faint moan of relief. The floor was so nice and cool, her body so deliciously NOT in agony. She had suffered in her life, dealt with pain, even hellscapes. She’d thought no physical torment could match the spiritual pain a demon could inflict, but now as she lay there, she had the passionate, fervent desire to never, ever feel what the collar had just done to her ever again.
The only upside was she barely felt the pounding of her head anymore. Or maybe in comparison, her headache felt like a slightly too intense scalp massage.
She panted into the floor, eyes closed, not sure she could move if she wanted to.
“Okay, that’s enough resting, Ray Ray,” Jinx told her, “Up and at em.”
Raven cracked her eyes open to slits, staring wearily at her captor. The HIVE girl was still grinning but an eyebrow was arched, waiting to be obeyed.
But Raven didn’t want to move yet. She needed to lie there for another few seconds, catch her breath, before she could think about trying to lift her head, much less get up. If she could just enjoy the cool floor for another minute, she’d gladly get up off the floor.
Jinx had her own timetable.
“Have it your way,” she shrugged.
The collar came to life and Raven did as well, stiffening and crying out in pain. Her body bowed from her lower back, head coming off the floor as well as her feet, like she was trying to bend back and touch her toes to her scalp. The pose squeezed her rump, already noticeably standing out from her flat back but now bulging, clenched tight, a groove flexing in the side of her thighs.
It wasn’t as bad as when she tried to use her powers, but it was plenty bad enough and she was already mentally spent. She didn’t try to resist the pain or retain any dignity, she just cried out haplessly, like a little girl.
The punishment didn’t last nearly as long. It stopped after a few seconds and Raven plopped limp to the floor with a cracked whimper.
“Now let’s try this again,” Jinx said cheerily, “Up, Raven.”
Raven groaned, burying her face into the floor. Getting up was an impossible task. She could barely blink.
“Still haven’t learned your lesson, hm?” Jinx clucked her tongue, “As stubborn as you are sullen.”
Another shock lanced through Raven’s body. She cried out and bucked, but it was just a taste of the punishment; no sooner had she bowed up than she flopped back down again, the punishment more like the crack of a whip than being held over coals.
“Up, prisoner.” Jinx said again.
Heart hammering, terror and helplessness growing, Raven grasped for anything to defend herself, wanting to cry, crawl away, hide. Panic made her willing to do almost anything to escape more punishment, to stop her tormentor.
Unfortunately, before she realized what she was doing, she reached for her powers.
The resulting agony wiped every thought from Raven’s mind. Consciousness was replaced by sheer animal desperation, a long, cracking scream ringing out that had none of the girl’s wry wit or somber personality. She shuddered and strained, body moving entirely on reflex, not even knowing her own name for those never-ending seconds.
Jinx sighed and rolled her eyes, “Dumb, Raven. Very, very dumb.”
As her prisoner screamed and clenched in a rictus, the HIVE girl tapped her foot, waiting for the punishment to end. She looked towards the ceiling, crossing her arms, and shook her head in annoyance. This was taking way longer than she thought it would.
When Raven once again dropped slack, Jinx had to wait even longer before her prisoner was coherent enough to understand commands. She sighed again, cocking her hips to level a bored look in the girl’s direction.
“Seriously, this isn’t that hard a concept,” she grumbled, “No powers. Do what you’re told. Even Mammoth would have figured it out by now.”
Raven coughed weakly, laying face down, shoulders heaving with a mixture of sobs and heavy breaths.
“Spooky, edgey Raven.” Jinx drawled, “Can’t even get up off the floor. No wonder everyone is so afraid of you.”
Raven didn’t even move at the taunt. She didn’t care. Anything that would buy her another few seconds of rest.
“We’re going to play a game now,” the HIVE girl said, “I’m going to count to five. If I get to five and you’re not standing up like I told you, you’re going to get punished again. One.”
Raven moaned and curled up on the floor. She was going to get punished again. She couldn’t get up. Jinx was going to keep torturing her forever.
“Two.”
Raven’s heart raced as the moment of agony drew closer. Desperation clawed at her, her shoulders and chest pumping as she threatened to hyperventilate. She couldn’t take any more, but she couldn’t rise either.
“W-wai… w-wait…” she squeaked.
“Three.”
Raven made a low, fearful sound, managing to turn her face to stare pleadingly at Jinx. Her purple eyes were wide and shining, brow pinched upwards in distress and terror. The cold, controlled demon mistress was replaced by a pretty, frightened child.
“I... I can’t…!”
“Yes, you can.” Jinx replied.
“Pl-please…”
“Four.”
Raven gulped and pushed at the floor, struggling to press up. Her arms wanted to buckle but her terror kept them rigid until she could drag her knees up underneath her. She wobbled, panting rapidly, then planted a foot, her leg quivering as she dragged herself upright.
“Four and a half.”
The Titan felt like she would crumple at any second, but she refused to do so. She couldn’t take that punishment again. She would do anything, COULD do anything, to escape it. With a cry of effort, she pushed to her feet and immediately thumped back against the wall to rest. Head hanging, she panted raggedly, shoulders slumped and breasts heaving. But she was standing.
“Aww, see?” Jinx cooed, “I told you you could do it.”
Raven slouched against the wall, face obscured by her hair, dangling in front of her eyes as she hung her head. Her relief at escaping the punishment was blending with shame as her panic faded. She’d been outsmarted, beaten, and saved by a girl who had been nothing but her rival, and now she had rushed to obey the girl’s commands. Not only that, but she knew that she would obey Jinx’s next command just as quickly. And the one after that and the one after that.
The realization that she would submit to her rival’s will was a minor thing in the face of her exhaustion and recent agony, but it weighed her down. The fact that she had no choice didn’t matter; she knew Jinx had taken something from her and she didn’t know how to take it back. Or even if she wanted to try.
While Raven caught her breath, a door hissed open and footsteps clicked into her cell. She didn’t lift her head to look but she knew it was Jinx. The girl strode past her without comment, toward the far wall. There was a click and the rasp of metal on metal as she removed the manacles from the wall, then footsteps returning as she approached Raven.
Jinx stopped in front of her prisoner, “Okay, Raven, for your next trick, I want you to give me your wrists so I can put these on you. Go on.”
Raven only paused for half a breath, more out of weariness than reluctance. Knowing the significance of her obedience, she held her hands out regardless, wrists together. Her arms wavered, too tired to hold them steady, but she offered them without complaint.
“Good.” Jinx chirped, slipping the manacles in place, “I know you’re not going to need these, but it’s a protocol thing. Besides, they suit you.”
Once the restraints were on her wrists, internal mechanics shifted automatically and locked with a single click. They fit the girl’s slender wrists snugly without pinching and chirped once to indicate they were secure.
Jinx looked her prisoner up and down, enjoying her defeated, weary posture, the restraints. She reached up to stroke her fingers through Raven’s hair, brushing it back from her forehead.
“Nobody’s ever brought in someone like you before,” she petted the girl’s fine, straight hair, “There’s already a crowd waiting at the first inprocessing station. Everybody’s going to be watching us. So… you need to get something through your head.”
She reached down to cup Raven’s chin, tilting it to look into her eyes.
Raven stared warily, a tiny spark of defiance in her fearful, weary gaze.
“I beat you,” Jinx told her, “You lost. You’re my prisoner now, demon girl. If you embarrass me with everyone watching, I’m going to make an example of you.”
Raven swallowed, the defiant spark shrinking back as the furrow in her brow deepened.
“Got it?”
She tried to stare back into Jinx’s stern gaze but couldn’t hold it. Her eyes darted away, first to the side, then to the floor. It wasn’t like she could say anything back, or that if the girl told her to do something she wouldn’t immediately obey. Without her powers, Jinx could kick her butt regardless, even without the immediate, inescapable agony she could administer.
Jinx’s grin grew crooked, her own chin rising with pride as Raven’s sank with submission. She didn’t mind that the defeated girl took a few seconds to respond; she didn’t want this delicious, thrilling moment to end.
She stroked Raven’s chin, eyes narrowing with pleasure.
“Got it, lil miss spooky?”
Raven sighed. The fact that she had no choice removed the weight of resistance from her shoulders. She was tired and it was a relief to realize all she had to do was obey. She slowly nodded.
“Yeah… I got it…”
Jinx leaned close, tilting her captive’s chin up to stare greedily into her eyes, eating up the meek submission behind them.
“Hmm…” she purred, “Goooooood…”
She stared into Raven’s eyes with a wicked grin, long enough that the look grew intimate, a moment shared between them. A tiny giggle bubbled in her throat, girlish and teasing. She drew closer yet, but just as it seemed like she was about to capture Raven’s lips with her own, she tossed her head back and took the humbled girl by the arm.
“Time to go then,” Jinx chirped, drawing Raven away from the wall, “We want to give people time to show up, but if we wait too much longer they’ll start to leave. I want to have as big an audience as possible when I march YOU in!”
She gave Raven a smack on the butt before leading her to the cell’s exit, an open doorway that looked like it had been cut out of the glass enclosure moments before.
Raven kept pace, though her eyelids drooped with misery. She felt more like sleeping for a month than walking somewhere, but she was afraid of what would happen if she asked to sit down.
Enjoying feeling Raven’s tight bottom jiggle beneath the leotard spandex and remembering how it had stuck out so interestingly during the girl’s torment, Jinx gave her rump a few lighter smacks, grinning playfully.
“It will be good for you, sweetie,” she giggled, “You’re so antisocial. After this, who knows? Maybe you’ll learn to like being the center of attention!”
Raven didn’t reply. She just hung her head and focused on walking, taking comfort that all she had to do was put one foot in front of the other.

It was a long walk down Raven’s cell block on her weary legs. From the outside, the cells looked like glass enclosures with no way in or out, the doorway to Raven’s cell sealing itself once they walked through it. Most of the cells were empty, only occasionally filled by people that were either clearly super powered or were high value prisoners of some kind. None of them reacted to the girls walking by, not seeing them through the one-way wall.
At the end of the hallway appeared to be a dead end, but a doorway opened in the wall as they approached, as it had in Raven’s cell. The cunning of the design further sobered the young Titan. Even if she had somehow gotten out of her own cell, she would never have figured out how to escape before someone else came for her. The HIVE was well prepared for any escape attempts, powers or not.
It looked like she was going to be here for a while.
They didn’t pass many people on their way out of the cell blocks, only the occasional hovering security robot. Raven was led through some hallways where they passed a trooper or two, but though they nodded at Jinx, they didn’t take much notice of her. Apparently, they were accustomed to prisoners being moved around.
After a few minutes, Raven decided she might as well ask some questions. It would have been galling to have to ask Jinx for the time a few hours before, but now she didn’t mind having to rely on the girl for answers. Being a helpless, obedient prisoner was already well past her threshold for humiliation.
“Where… are we going?” she asked softly.
“Inprocessing area, like I told you,” Jinx said proudly, “To make you an official HIVE prisoner. It’s going to be fun.”
Raven swallowed, doubting that very much.
Her next question was harder. It sounded more pathetic, more scared. But she had to know.
“What does…” she asked, “HIVE do with… prisoners?”
Jinx glanced at her with a quick grin, clearly noticing the worry in her voice.
They passed through an automatic door into a shorter hallway that was decorated more like a school, portraits of alumnus on one wall and former headmasters on the other. A few students in yellow uniforms were standing nearby, chatting amiably. One of them noticed Raven and nudged his friend.
“Let’s see…” Jinx counted off the processes, pretending not to notice the students’ awed stares, “You’ll be interrogated, decontaminated, given a full physical, implanted with a marker, barcoded, scanned on several different wavelengths, spatially mapped… and… oh, powers gauged and… hmm, I’m sure there’s more…”
Just hearing those parts of the process made Raven feel unbearably tired, emotionally and physically. She closed her eyes, wondering if it would have been better not knowing.
“Hmm…” Jinx smiled at her, brushing her fingers through her prisoner’s silky hair, “After that it’s sort of up to me. The HIVE has a ‘keep what you catch’ policy to encourage us to take prisoners. Basically, I get to decide exactly what happens to you and you’re also my responsibility. I pretty much own you, like you own your depression.”
She looped her arm across Raven’s shoulders, resting her forehead against her prisoner’s temple. Her voice was soft now, teasing.
“Technically, I could hand you over to the academy, but I’m not going to. You’re way too much fun. And I’ve always wanted a pet demon. We’re going to have lots of fun together.”
She pressed her lips to Raven’s cheek, giving her a kiss.
Raven winced, heat rising to her cheeks. The other girl hadn’t outright said them, but her tone suggested things that made the captive Titan squirm with discomfort. She told herself she was reading too much into it, but kept her gaze firmly turned away, despite the other girl leaning closer to try to meet it.
The shy reaction drew another delighted giggle from Jinx, who slipped her hand from Raven’s arm to rest it between her captive’s shoulders.
“A blush?! Ooh, you ARE going to be fun!”
By the time Jinx finished talking, the girls had reached the end of the hall, facing a pair of double doors.
“Ready for your premiere?” the HIVE asked then answered before her captive could respond, “Good!”
She used the hand she’d rested on Raven’s back to shove her violently towards the doors.
Exhausted and taken completely by surprise, Raven gasped and stumbled forward, losing her balance. The doors hissed open automatically or she would have collided. She stumbled through them to fall into the next room on her hands and knees.
The moment the doors had opened, the low murmur of a crowd had filled Raven’s ears. Now those voices trailed off, shushing each other, like an audience on seeing the curtain rise on a show.
Raven lifted her head. She was in a more open area of the academy, a large room with tables, sofas, vending machines, and benches. There were video game consoles set up at the far wall, a glide hockey table, even shelves stacked with board games. Several hallways branched off to different parts of the complex, colored markers set at each hall’s opening.
It was one of HIVE’s lounge areas and it was full of students in their yellow uniforms, all having stopped what they were doing when one of the Teen Titans had stumbled into their midst. They looked up from books they were reading, turned from conversations they were having to stare. A pair of boys at the glide hockey table stopped their game, still leaned over the table but looking at her, the puck floating lazily towards one of the goals.
Raven froze, eyes wide, like a gazelle tossed into a lion’s den. That split second felt like an eternity.
Jinx strutted through the doors after her, head held high.
“Get up, Titan!” she cried, “It’s still a long walk to the first station! You can rest when I’m done inprocessing you!”
She stopped beside Raven, hands on her hips. She sneered down at the prone girl, cat’s eyes narrowed, cruel.
Raven blinked up at her, stunned, both by her sudden display in front of the crowd and her captor’s change in demeanor.
“I said up, prisoner,” Jinx’s voice became syrupy sweet, “Unless you want me to punish you again?”
Raven’s heart leapt with fear. She bounced up to her feet before she realized what was doing, weak knees knocked together, eyes staring wide at her captor.
Whispers immediately filled the room, a few laughs of surprise.
“Did you see that?”
“Is that really Raven?”
“That’s Jinx. I told you, she captured Raven on yesterday’s mission.”
“Just a scaredy little goth girl…”
Jinx pretended not to hear the whispers, but her grin broadened. She gave Raven a quick wink.
“There’s a good demon girl!” she crowed, “Now go on! March!”
She landed a loud smack on Raven’s rump to mush her forward.
Raven jumped, her pale features blushing an almost cherry red and hurried forward.
Jinx put a hand on the back of her neck to guide her and the girls continued their journey, right through the center of the room.
Students made way for captor and captive, grinning, whispering. They would have done the same for a high-ranking student like Jinx, but now, in awe of her having humbled one of the Teen Titans, the entire crowd parted in a wave, staying well away. They were almost like subjects clearing the road for their queen.
The significance wasn’t lost on Jinx. She strutted teasingly, wearing a coy smirk, but keeping her eyes straight ahead, like the other students weren’t even there.
Raven and her captor made their way down the hallway with the blue marker, a good number of students following them. Along the way they passed more students, who likewise stopped to stare, stepping aside to let Jinx and her famous prisoner pass. Some immediately took out their phones, texting friends or taking pictures. Almost every boy they passed grinned, looking both girls up and down.
For Raven, it was nail-bitingly miserable. She had never really liked being in front of crowds, often feeling like everyone was staring at her, even if they weren’t. Now everyone was absolutely staring, smirking, saying nasty things under their breath, enjoying seeing her humbled and beaten. She kept her eyes on her feet as much as she could but couldn’t help glancing up every at a particularly loud whisper or mocking snicker. Her armor of coldness and apathy had been removed and now she was exposed to them all, helpless to defend herself.
Jinx, on the other hand, never said a word to anyone and never met anyone’s eyes. She let everyone scurry out of her way and watch, marching briskly, on HIVE Five business and too preoccupied to acknowledge them. She didn’t care if some of them thought she was snooty, as long as they remembered her leading Raven down the halls of the academy, cowed and vanquished.
A procession formed behind the girls as they passed classrooms, labs, workshops, and gyms. Jinx purposefully took the most highly travelled halls on her way to the inprocessing and collection area. Students peered out through windows in the different classrooms, professors blandly telling them to return to their seats and only slowly being obeyed. By the time the girls reached their destination, the whole school knew the rumors were true: Raven had been taken off the board by Jinx. The daughter of Trigon was now a prisoner of the HIVE.
The first station at inprocessing and collections was a screen in the shape of a large doorway, showing nothing but a laser-like red dot in the very center. The screen/doorway was flanked on either side by HIVE troopers, another standing at a control console beside the entry way. A small ramp extended from the floor to the base of the screen/doorway, red circles at the top indicating where entrants should stand.
Jinx walked Raven to the base of the ramp and stopped her, grinning at the guards.
“HIVE Five team leader Jinx,” she beamed, “Presenting high value captive for inprocessing. PERSONALLY owned.”
The guards at the doorway nodded and the one at the console hit several keys, while Raven looked around nervously. The screen they were facing looked like a big evil eye glaring at her and behind her she could hear students murmuring, commenting to each other, sounding excited. Anything about her humiliating situation that HIVE students found exciting was probably not something to anticipate with anything but dread.
“Identifier and power level of your prisoner?” the console guard asked.
“Teen Titan, Raven,” Jinx promptly responded, “Power level B.”
The guard at the console took the information down.
“Raven, enemy combatant identifier 000192735,” the guard said, “Accepted.”
At that, Jinx led Raven up the shallow ramp to stand in front of the screen, stopping her in one of the red circles marked on the floor. Once they were in place, the screen/doorway came to life.
The screen’s red eye lit up and shined a flickering, horizontally spread beam, starting at the girls heads then moving down to their toes. The beam went out when it reached the floor, then came back on, vertically this time, and scanned the pair of them from shoulder to shoulder. Once it finished, the red eye dimmed again, inert.
“File for prisoner P000054922, name Raven, has been created,” the guard reported.
He hit a final key and the screen slid upwards, opening the way to the next room.
“Please proceed to the next station.” The guard told them.
The black, glossy door with its glowing red eye rose slowly, vanishing into the top of its frame. Halfway up, the red light went out entirely and there were several loud clicks, like locks were coming undone, gears whirring as they lifted the heavy door.
Raven shifted nervously at first, part of her wishing the door would take longer, another part wishing it would hurry up to end the anticipation, but then after several seconds she hung her head. In the end it didn’t really matter; there was nothing she could do about it. Jinx would march her through every step in this process and she would obey every order the girl gave her. She might as well just calm down and accept she was a prisoner. That she was Jinx’s prisoner.
The Titan sighed heavily, her head drooped.
Jinx recognized the sigh and cut her eyes towards her captive, grinning. She let her hand slip down to rest on Raven’s hip, then slid it around over the seat of her leotard.
Raven didn’t even flinch. She let her captor’s hand feel where it wanted without protest or complaint.
When the door finally clunked all the way open, Jinx guided Raven through with the hand on her butt. Raven allowed herself to be led, feeling her captor’s hand nudged by the shifting of her own bottom.
The next area was an enclosed chamber with a descended square in the center, cut with holographic gridlines. It was a tall room, with enough room for two levels. On the left wall was what looked like a row of filing cabinets with number pads beneath the handles, at the right several hovering robot guards, in case a prisoner tried to escape. At the second level, above the filing cabinets, were observation windows. Raven could see several figures watching through them, though she couldn’t make out features.
Jinx led her down to the grid squares, hand resting patiently on her butt the whole way, then stopped her by putting a hand on her hip. She then took Raven by the shoulders and shoulders and turned so they were facing each other. She grinned mischievously.
“I bet you won’t mind if I take these handcuffs off, huh?” she said in a more private tone, “Like I said, just standard. I know you don’t need them.”
She waved her hand over the manacles and both cuffs unlocked and opened with the same mechanical click. They beeped once loose and Jinx slipped them off, tossing them aside. Then, strangely, she stood in front of Raven and did nothing; she simply looked the girl over thoughtfully, grinning to herself.
Behind them, the door into this area began to slowly close, gears whirring. It was much larger from the inside than it appeared from the outside, clearly meant to seal this room if something went wrong. More clicks rang out, echoing inside the small chamber.
Jinx took Raven by the shoulders and smoothed her hands up and down the girl’s arms. It was gentle and soothing, like the HIVE girl was trying to warm her up, relax her.
It worked. Raven felt some of the tension bleed from her shoulders and she released a small breath, a bit of nervousness going with it.
Jinx continued to run her hands up and down her captive’s arms, feeling the slender muscles beneath the spandex.
“You behaved so well, Raven,” she said softly, “Even better than I thought you would. You’re better at being a prisoner than you were a superhero.”
Raven winced at the gentle taunt, lifting her head to look up at her captor.
Jinx smiled back.
The words stung, but the HIVE girl wasn’t wrong. Raven had done exactly what she was told, been shy and docile, let Jinx dominate her entirely. Not only that, but she’d shown the entire school her submission as well.
The door continued to whir its way down, the students having to lean down to try to see underneath.
“Yeah… great…” Raven said softly.
Jinx leaned in to kiss her forehead, then turned her eyes up to the observation windows. She knew the headmaster, investors, and other super villains were watching how this played out, not only interested in seeing the enigmatic Raven handled, but seeing how Jinx handled her. So, she wanted them to see Raven calm and submissive, meek as a lamb.
So far, so amazingly good.
“And since you’ve been good,” Jinx cooed, “I’m going to stall for a more seconds so the door can close. The underclassmen don’t have to see this part. No need to embarrass you anymore than we have to, is there?”
Raven swallowed and slowly shook her head.
The door descended the last few inches, students in yellow uniforms now lying down, trying to take pictures with their phones. Then the door banged shut and locked with a clack. It was just the two of them in the chamber, and the group of powerful men watching through windows above.
It was strangely silent, the room close and contained.
Jinx sighed wistfully and smiled, reaching up to stroke Raven’s hair.
“Okay, lil miss spooky. Time for the costume to come off now.”
Raven nodded sadly. She expected as much and she couldn’t really be angry at Jinx about it, not when the girl could have made it much worse.
And so began the process of undressing Raven.
Jinx reached down to unclip the jeweled belt from Raven’s waist, slipping it free. She draped it over her arm, stepped to the side to gently lay it down on the floor, then returned to take the other girl’s boots. Raven even helped, lifting one leg and working a boot loose, then handing it to her, before doing the same with the other.
Neither girl spoke, though Jinx occasionally glanced at Raven to see her reaction, smiling to herself. She moved slowly as she worked, taking the garments one by one and setting them down with care, like they were sacred artifacts. When she moved away, Raven stood a bit awkwardly, waiting for her to come back for the next article. It was patient and slow, almost ceremonial.
Of course, Raven didn’t have much to take off before they got down to the leotard. When it came time to take that off, Jinx paused and grinned mischievously. She drew closer, looking into Raven’s eyes, then down at the oil-slick spandex that held her from shoulders to crotch.
After staring for a moment, she dragged her eyes back up to Raven’s, lazy and smug. She’d been looking forward to this.
Raven swallowed and lowered her eyes, silently acceding to its removal. Jinx could do so whenever she liked.
The leotard had a high neckline, almost to the pale girl’s chin, but it was supremely stretchy. Jinx worked her fingers into either side, then slowly stretched it out, over her captive’s shoulders. The neck widened to fit over them, revealing the straps of Raven’s lavender bra, then was drawn down to her arms. Jinx let the leotard stay there for a moment, slowly moving her hands to find different holds.
Raven allowed the leotard to squeeze her shoulders in, like she was hugging herself protectively. She kept her eyes lowered. She could have sped up the process, but her captor seemed to be enjoying herself.
Jinx smiled at her captive, then took the leotard at her chest and wiggled it down, steadily, inch by inch. It rolled down over the tops of her breasts, revealing her cleavage, then the cups of her lavender bra. Looser at that point, it slipped down her arms, over her tummy then paused just at her hips so Jinx could slip the sleeves off her arms. She lifted one arm and wiggled the clinging spandex off, then set it back at her captive’s side to repeat the process with the other.
Growing in self-consciousness, Raven hugged one arm across her stomach and shifted nervously in place. She usually preferred quiet, but the silence in this chamber, broken only by the rustling of her clothes being removed, made her squirm. She couldn’t help thinking about what was happening, of who was watching and what would happen next.
As if sensing her captive’s discomfort, Jinx looked up at her. She drew in a deep breath then released a happy, hmming sigh.
“Just relax, Raven,” she cooed, “You’re okay.”
Sinking her fingers into the gap between Raven’s leotard and her skin, her captor pushed the garment slowly down, grinning at her as she did so. Instead of wiggling it by inches, Jinx let the stretchy fabric slip smoothly down, rounding over her bottom and off her hips. It began turning inside out as it came untucked from between her thighs, pealing out of her nooks and crannies before sliding down her legs.
Finally, the last of Raven’s costume came down to her ankles. She stepped out of it to let Jinx take it, who then began turning it right side out and folding it.
“Take off your bra and panties too, sweetie,” Jinx said as she folded the arms of the leotard under the chest, “It needs to all come off except for the collar.”
Raven winced and looked down at herself. Her bra was a snug fit and her g-string panties didn’t leave much to the imagination. She hadn’t picked them out to show off; she couldn’t wear modest underwear beneath her leotard without showing lines. But as skimpy as they were, she was in no hurry to take them off. She slipped one strap off her shoulder, moving with the lethargy of reluctance, watching Jinx as the girl gathered up her costume.
After folding the leotard, Jinx set it down with the boots and belt, then marched towards the square, key-padded drawers that looked like filing cabinets. She picked one of them, pressed a series of buttons, then drew it open until it locked in place. Then she turned back to get the Titan’s costume.
Raven watched curiously as Jinx bundled up the leotard, boots, under one arm, then carried it back to the cabinet. She took the leotard first and laid it down gently, smoothing it flat with one hand, then set the boots down next. The belt she coiled up with a few quick moves, then set it next to the boots with a smile of satisfaction.
When she turned back, Raven was staring at her, still wearing her undergarments. She arched an eyebrow.
Raven realized her and slowly, wearily reached back to unhook her bra. She looked guiltily away from her captor.
Jinx advanced on her, lips pursed, clearly displeased. She stopped right in front of Raven, and crossed her arms, staring intently. She began to tap her foot, slowly but audibly.
The Titan bit her lip, her fingers tired and trembling. Her eyes darted up to her captor, as if in hope for a reprieve, but then look away again.
Jinx watched her for another moment, then imperiously held out her hand, palm up.
“Bra, Raven.” She ordered.
Raven swallowed, then the bra finally came unhooked with a tiny snap. She slipped it wearily off her shoulders, then squeezed her arms together as she drew the cups off, instinctively hiding her bare breasts. When she reached out to put the garment in Jinx’s hand, one arm hugged across both, smooshing the pale mounds and concealing them.
Jinx took the bra, matter-of-factly put it in her other hand, then offered the same hand again in the same way.
“Panties.” She said simply.
Raven squirmed, knowing she was blushing pink despite herself. Somewhat stiffly she bent down and used both hands to slip her underwear down, then stepped out of them. Face red, cringing with embarrassment, she stood upright and placed her underwear in Jinx’s waiting hand.
“Good,” Jinx’s grin returned, “Now. Arms to your sides, head up, back straight.”
Raven blinked, looking down at herself again. She hadn’t even realized she’d covered herself, pinching her knees together and huddling over. She sighed and wearily obeyed, lowering her arms, straightening her back.
Jinx turned her back and moved to the filing cabinet again, dropping Raven’s undergarments inside with less ceremony than her costume. With that she closed the cabinet, turned the handle to lock it and pressed another few keys. At the final key, there was a hollow whooshing sound that travelled up the wall and quickly vanished. It wasn’t just a cabinet, but a transport system, carrying Raven’s personal effects somewhere to be catalogued and collected.
With that done, Jinx spun on her heel and marched towards her captive with an eager bounce in her step, looking the girl up and down. This was something else she had been looking forward to.
Raven watched her, large eyes sad, worried, and weary.
“Hmm…” Jinx stopped in front of her to muse playfully, “Very pale, but at least no tan lines…”
She looked her captive over for another moment before deciding to fix her posture. She tipped a finger under Raven’s chin, tilting it up, then took her shoulders and pushed them back. Reaching around, she placed a hand in the small of the girl’s back to straighten her up, then stood back up to brush her hair behind her ears.
Raven looked to the side and allowed herself to be posed, moving her body to Jinx’s gentle nudges and holding it where she was directed.
Jinx grinned tartly as she tweaked, like she wanted to giggle but was restraining herself. She placed her hands on either side of Raven’s hips and adjusted them one way, then another, then set them back to where they started. As a final touch, she smoothed her hands down her captive’s legs and across her shoulders, as if straightening out the creases in nonexistent clothes. Then she stepped back and pinched her chin thoughtfully, admiring her prisoner like a sculptor.
Raven was slim with just enough tone for it to not be awkward, well exercised despite her powers being purely mental and spiritual. She already had the figure of a woman, flared hips and breasts that were almost perfectly round, standing out from the way her shoulders were pulled back. Her skin was almost gray, but was otherwise immaculate, shining with health and unblemished. She was a strange, but pretty teenage girl, odd but nubile.
Jinx wouldn’t have changed one thing about her.
The girl strode back up to her prisoner. She moved close, so their bodies almost touched, close enough to speak softly without anyone else hearing.
“I love your body…” she placed a hand on Raven’s waist, “So… different and sexy…”
Her other hand glided up to cup under the girl’s breast. Raven looked at her, still blushing, eyes shining and nervous.
“I’m glad I didn’t throw you out of the shuttle,” Jinx cooed, “I almost did, you know. Would have been such a waste, no?”
She leaned in and pressed a kiss to Raven’s cheek, gently massaging the girl’s bare breast.
“It’s okay, now,” Jinx said, “This isn’t so bad, is it? Nobody will mess with you, as long as you’re my prisoner. Just do as you’re told. Enjoy this.”
Raven nodded slowly, partly to Jinx, partly to herself. Though she wouldn’t yet admit it out loud, she could see the logic in her captor’s position and was too tired to resist it. This wasn’t that bad. Any number of her enemies would have been doing much more horrible things to her, and while Jinx clearly enjoyed her dominance, she had also shown mercy.
Mostly, she was just very tired. She closed her eyes and let go, letting herself slump a bit, allowing her captor to hold her.
Jinx grinned and looked up at the observation windows, imagining what they were seeing.
The wealthy, evil men who had been allowed to witness the inprocessing were glad they’d come. None of them spoke to each other, other than to make careful remarks, but each of them was enjoying the show on several levels. Not only was pleasurable to watch a pretty, naked teenage girl, not to mention one who had been a thorn in their sides on occasion, but what the beaten, submissive captive represented. They were picturing other troublesome heroines in Raven’s place. Black Canary, Zatanna, Hawkgirl, Vixen. Even Wonder Woman. If they could contain someone like Raven, who else could they handle?
Jinx winked knowingly up at them, then turned back to her captive.
“Okay…” she whispered, “Let’s move over here now, spooky. Nice and easy… there we go… good girl…”

By the time Raven was brought back to her cell, she was completely spent. She lay on her cot, eyes half open, letting the events earlier that day play through her mind.
After she’d been stripped, she’d stumbled through the rest of it like she was in a dream. She had been stood in the middle of the grid and been scanned thoroughly. They mapped her entire body inside and out, every cranny, every secret place. It felt silly that she’d blushed at being naked before, when now anyone at HIVE academy could pull up complete, accurate specs of her nude body. They could even look at her insides if they wanted.
In the next chamber she’d been laid down and Jinx had rubbed disinfectant over her shoulder and hip before injecting an implant into both places. She’d explained they were to track her, so they’d known exactly where she was at all times. She’d also kindly anesthetized the places beforehand; it had only felt like a pair of dull pinches.
A laser had branded a barcode on the top of her hand, then she’d been taken to another chamber and cleaned thoroughly. There were robots on hand to do the deed, but Jinx had quickly stepped in to handle it personally, grinning the entire time.
Raven hadn’t minded.
After being dried, she’d been poked and inspected on a medical level, things inserted inside her mouth and other places, devices checking her brainwaves and giving her the most thorough exam she’d ever had. Samples were taken of her DNA, they’d run a different scanner over her to test for various kinds of energy, then finally she’d been slipped into a yellow, HIVE leotard.
The last thing was the official alteration of her file. Jinx requested the data entry guard’s monitor be shown on a bigger screen so both captor and captive could watch Raven’s combatant file be emptied, placed into the inactive directory, then everything inside it moved to her new prisoner file. It took almost a minute for the terabytes of data to be moved through HIVE’s advanced system, but Jinx insisted they stay to watch to the end.
Once the files were backed up and pushed to the master directory, it was official: Raven the Teen Titan was gone. In her place was P000054922, recently acquired prisoner of Jinx and the HIVE academy.
They took a shorter route back to her cell, but Jinx had had a robot carry Raven anyway, for which she was grateful. She’d been laid down, Jinx had kissed her on the brow, said she’d be back tomorrow, then sealed her in.
Raven let her eyes drift closed, it all too much to think about. She knew Jinx had more plans for her and she knew she’d have to go along with them. She couldn’t shake the feeling that this was a new beginning, or the start of a new chapter, and she was too tired to ponder what that would mean.
Instead she slept, dreaming strangely of warm caresses, being pleasantly touched, and soft words that coaxed her to submit.

Yeah, the way it turned out I couldn't really fit in Raven being led around on all fours. She WAS collared and led, though :p. I enjoyed writing the Starfire bit myself, sorry if you found Gizmo annoying. Starfire is a bit easier to write than Raven, because she's so emotive, whereas Raven is more quiet and reserved. I had more plans with them, but that will have to be in a sequel story because this one is already at 25000 words :p

I really loved it :) To me the heart of the story was between Raven and Jinx, they had an interesting dynamic going on. Both girls showed a facade that betrayed what they were truly feelings deep down. I liked the attention you gave to Raven's looks, how truly appealing her outfit and body must be. Raven felt really feminine and vulneravle, it was awesome. Starfire on the other side....kinda felt shoved it? Gizmo was kinda annoying and i wasnt exactly aroused with Stafire being played by a midget lol. The hypnosis was great but it just felt disconnected from the much more immersive Raven narrative. I also really liked how believable Hive seemed to be, how everything felt organic. (Too bad Raven didnt walked on all four and never got leashed haha. Oh well!)
