Just a quick public notice
🕑 Added 2025-01-08 23:38:49 +0000 UTCLA has been facing a crazy windstorm and subsequently wildfires since yesterday and today -- my power went out last night for a while from the former (it's back now) and some friends and family are being displaced due to the fires, and I'm on standby to help evacuate and potentially lodging. Hopefully things resolve soon but I may be quiet for a bit as we deal with this, it's been wild

It is has been beyond wild for sure!! I lost power last night as well in the middle of a collab with a friend and even heard a transformer explode not long after. Scared the hell out of me. Good on you for looking out for your loved ones like that though. Helping each other is what we all need to be doing right now. Been making sure to check on my neighbors and handing out lots of water, I have a ton of water crates from a bulk buy I did when I had some friends visiting a couple months ago. Iโve been a pit stop for my friends in the area as well whoโve ended up displaced before they head to their evacuation destination with their families. But I might have to evacuate soon myself too, the Eaton Fire is getting SO greedy and more scary by the hour. Stay safe, CC!!! ๐งก๐ฆ Weโll all pull through this together!

Hope things work out. Sounds awful I'm in Utah and the smoke is causing awful air quality all the way down here can't imagine what it's like over there.
