Process steps for a few different eyes

Edit: I should mention I used the same single brush for everything. Honestly brushes are a minor part of the process, it’s just about what you’re comfortable with.

Yep, I always start with the general skin tone, then add overall shadow to the eye area, and then begin to build light and shadows. At the very end I do the lightest highlights and darkest shadows. I guess it does feel a little like applying makeup haha I don’t know why I’m so bad at applying makeup in real life!

Ohhhh hohohoh I see now! So you first find the base color for the skin, find the highlights and shades, then apply them as you would makeup to accentuate where the light hits or where skin lines appear. Then smear the colors slightly. Brilliant!
