Prime Leap and discord group
🕑 Added 2020-04-08 01:04:04 +0000 UTCas of this month I will be starting to use Prime Leap, it came to my attention that a lot of my content is being posted on other websites and as any creator would be this greatly upsets me. So as of right now I'm going to be hopefully working with and supporting prime leap so my content stays under my control.
however not all content will be posted there, only finished comic pages and comic fan art. commissions and sketches will still be posted regularly here
as for the discord group, its becoming stressful given the situation I'm being faced with and discord offers a far safer place for me to post my work with connected patreon accounts. once I'm happy with it I will be posting links so users can join as patreon supporters

The site is link to patreon so as long as you are a supporter here you can viee it there :) it just protects me from people posting my content elsewhere. Still learning how the site works

unfortunately while this is true I still have to protect my interest as well as make it clear I will not tolerate my content being stolen. I have published more than enough content to enjoy beyond what I post here so to say that my wanting to paywall the art I work hard to pay for mt living expenses does not seem like a selfish act. I spend countless hours on the images I publish and to have someone take the rights away from me and post the else where without my knowledge is more than upset because I not only don't get to be the one posting it but I don't get to see the reactions to people who view it for the first time so I miss out on a lot of content and people who intentionally really like my work. I would like full control over my work since it is, my work, and should have the right to say where my content gets posted especially if I made it clear that I didnt want it published . That is a clear violation of my rights as a content creator

Don't make the automatic assumption that the just because your content is being posted elsewhere that only means lost revenue. I found out about you because I saw one of your comics posted on an image board and I liked it, so I wanted to support you to create more. I'm sure I'm not the only one like that. I get the reaction that its "greatly upsetting" to see your hard work being posted without your permission, but thats a kneejerk one. This kind of behavior is self defeating I think because it not only limits your exposure but paywalling art is never a good thing. Art is meant to be shared to brighten people's lives, not something that exists only for those privileged enough to be able to afford it. Something that's especially true now.
