Should I really update to 1.18.1 or 1.16.5 instead?

will it still be on the 1.12.2 version as well? id like having it on a more modern version too sure, but alot of mods are on 1.12.2 and im just hoping it doesnt stop supporting it

I like 1.16.5 as it has loads of mod support already. I think by the time 1.18 gets there you would probably be ready to do the update process again.

i feel like porting it to 1.16.5 isn't a terrible idea; it would make it easier to convert the mod (and it might be more optimized, giving better performance), but that version is obviously missing some of the quality of life improvements and new features in the newer updates.

1.18 would be interesting but there are mods in previous updates that can do caves almost like the ones in 1.18. there are also more mod options for people in 1.16.5, 1.12.2. these two updates have the most mods and most interesting mods but 1.18 doesn't have that many yet.

idk man, adding more mods to 1.18 will make it to where there are more mods on 1.18

Honestly it would be cool to have it on 1.18.1 ,but if it’s too much trouble to rewrite it all compared to 1.16.5 then I would rather have it on 1.16.5.

Honestly I would just wait until 1.19 comes out and then start working on updating it to the latest update. For now I would maybe focus on bug fixes and small updates to improve the mod, Same as usual.

There are still some really good mods in 1.18, plus the update itself is worth it imo

Would love to see the Girls in the newest update.

Honestly, 1.18 with the giant caves would be perfect for some niche builds for the gals :D
