If you think you saw this comic on the main page for about a minute, no. No you did not. I would never make that mistake, and if I did? I would deny it.
Which, um, is not what's happening now, but I would.
Commentary
Unable to remember how well my younger scrub trash self bowled, I attempted to look up numbers to expect from novice bowlers. I got varied answers, but those mostly disagree on whether sixty-two could be considered "good" for a novice.
Me? I'm not sure. I just know Diane and Lucy can do a lot better than that, and Justin got a minimum score of sixty-three.

If I recall correctly, the last time I bowled, I got a 62. My first three balls were strikes. As I let go of the ball the third time, my RSI flared up, and I was limited to carrying the ball two handed to the lane and rolling it like a 3 year old who was just learning to play. (To be clear, I've seen a 3 year old who knew how to play and typically scored close to 300 that way. But I did the version where mostly the pins slept pretty comfortably while I was up.)

My default 'bowl good' score is 100, aka 'knock everything down on average', but that builds on years of bowling. And was set many years ago. Can only imagine how bad I'd be if I tried to bowl now.
