”Like Star, but with less Shipping”? I don’t think any cartoon would dare to go into so much needless shipping as Star did. Jeez that got out of control. And I’m a huge shipper!

I’m being patient with the show, because I remember what Gravity Falls was like. It didn’t have much in the way of “plot” until about 20 episodes in, the season 1 finale. Sure, they dropped hints here and there, but it was mostly Monster of the Week. And it turned out to be a phenomenal show. Plus, bonus points for subverting a cliche.
