Upcoming Patreon Tier changes

Anyway, as I alluded to in Animation Poll from the end of May, I wanted to switch my Patreon currency to British Pounds, and whilst I'm doing that it seemed like a good idea to make any changes I'm planning on making to my tiers at the same time.
I believe I should be able to change my currency to pounds without affecting the current tiers. You all will pay the same as you do right now, albeit the money will reach me as pounds, which is nice. Still, I'd like to move my tiers around a little, and ultimately I'd like to offer different things in the tiers to what I do now seeing as the scope of my output has increased and changed a bit since I started this Patreon.
If I'm not mis-reading the documentation on Patreon, I should be able to leave the current tiers intact, whilst making them invisible to new Patrons. If this is the case then I plan to let everyone stay in the tiers they are currently in, whilst I open up new tiers that function as replacements going forwards.
The reason I'd prefer to do it this way is I feel as though I'd want to move the bonus illustrations, especially for things like Animation variations, to a higher tier, but I want people who have joined me before I make the switch to still recieve the bonuses that they subscribed for. So consider it an early-bird bonus that you get to keep the extra stuff in the current Supporter tier.
I'll be going over the actual details more thoroughly closer to the time I make the changes. I'd planned to do it this week but there's a heatwave in the UK and I don't want to do money things whilst I'm halfway melted. It'll probably be next month.

I wouldn't worry, my PC is well ventilated, and I've had all my games capped at 30fps this week to keep my GPU under control. Plus I always shut it down overnight anyway. It's probably managing better than I am.

60% humidity? At least I don't usually have to put up with more than 45%. Desert air tends to be dry. But I couldn't live where I live without AC. I don't suppose you need it a LOT there, but it well and truly sucks when you need it and don't have it. Speaking of heat, though I'm sure you know this, some of your Patrons may not. Heat and electronics are a very bad mixture. Taking some time away from the computer (especially any high-GPU/CPU use applications) during times of high environmental heat is a good way to avoid a computer meltdown. Even WITH AC, in the graphics program I use, I don't do any renders if the ambient temperature is above 25 (Which routinely happens when the outside air is over 35, and it is about 120 days a year). My CPU flirts with TMAX for WAY too long. So if you need some down-time art-wise during a heat wave to preserve your equipment, I'd completely understand why, and hopefully explaining this here helps your other Patrons better understand that it's not JUST you melting down that's a consideration there. Speaking for myself, and rest assured, I look forward with great anticipation to seeing your latest works every weekend, if you need to skip a week to preserve mind, body and computer, by all means do so. Better a week off due to weather than weeks off due to smoking equipment issues.

It's a nice and toasty 29°C with 60% humidity. It's miserable and I don't have AC. My Wacom gets so hot it's uncomfortable to touch. Anyhow, I've not had issue with Patreon or its payments before. I'm just hoping that flipping the switches and levers that I need to doesn't adversely affect my Patrons.

Thanks for the update! I hope this works out for you. I appreciate the "early bird special" offer, too. If it simplifies things for you, great! I just hope that forex fees don't mess up your income by doing this. While I don't know how Patreon deals with that, I expect it's built into what you have going now. As for the heat, being a human polar bear for whom anything over 25C is uncomfortable, I can commiserate with heatwave melting syndrome. And with the UK being a much more temperate climate (usually) than the desert edge in which I live, it's probably not something you are, nor want to, get used to. Hope you can keep your cool!
