Def one of my favorite episodes, and it makes Korra mean so much more in hindsight! Like this is something Katara and Hama needed a full moon for, and the character in LOK could just do it at will! So scary

This episode builds soo much on water bending and I love it soo much. Weβve seen water bending be expanded and developed soo much but this takes it to another level. Being able to pull water from the air thanks to humidity or being able to completely wilt a plant to get it. But to bloodbend. Completely control another body and impose your will on them is such a terrifying ability, one that Katara now knows and is capable of. Think about it, during a full moon Katara is theoretically capable of taking down anyone, even Azula. But also, did you notice the move Katara pulls during her fight with Hama. She plants her feet, stands her ground and blocks it. Instead of the usual water bender tactic of redirecting it back at your opponent. Toph is starting to rub off on her, such a nice little way of showcasing the Gaangs relationships growing and changing.
