Why No Timer?
Due to the episode not 'officially' being released in the America at the time of uploading (Oct 5th, 2024) their currently is no 'official' version to watch. My timer reactions are a great way of complying with copyright/fair use laws and supporting the official release.... BUT, with no official release out yet... I don't want the 'sync' to be throw off in a few months for the timer version.
SO.... Uploading it this way onto Patreon is the best solution currently, till Disney+ has their version online in America.

The special was added to Disney+ this week, so I was finally able to check it out (and then your reaction, too). I was somehow able to stay spoiler free, but next time, I'm not gonna take that risk. I'll never understand why this franchise makes releasing new episodes so complicated! As for the special itself, it was so good!! I had some complaints about the S5 finale - namely, the pacing and the aftermath - which this special partially addressed, so I'm very satisfied. Nathalie is one of my favorite characters, so I was worried about her being sidelined without Gabriel in the picture. I love the idea of her maybe playing a supportive role for Marinette. If only we had the Rabbit Miraculous and could skip ahead to Season 6. 🤣

I really hope next season has a bunch of cute filler date episodes or something, the longer the show goes on the more they make Marinette suffer. I've always had my criticisms of her and there have been times that I really disliked her, but she's just a kid and it really sucks to see her absolutely crushed in this special. She's so dead inside, please give her something happy 😭

I understand Marinette's thinking with the big lie.but- I feel like with how terrible Gabriel has been as a father to Adrien, and how much Adrien began to resent him and wish he would treat him better... We don't get to see it here, but I can only imagine the conflict in Adrien's head and how it will continue to eat at him how his father died as a martyr yet when he thinks of him he remembers how he never gave him the time of day. It'll also cause problems with Marinette obviously keeping that big secret forever. I wonder if in season 6 the 'Gabriel was a Hero' lie will be the new 'Identity Reveal' thing, like the big secret no one can find out cause even Alya doesn't know. WAIT ALYA DIDNT APPEAR IN THIS SPECIAL ONCE WTF@@@!!!

Girl i was shocked how good the writing for this special was. I've always been critical of the writing choices in the show, but they really hit the mark in this special and it makes me hopeful for the future!

It seems like it might be another month or two before Disney Channel US will be getting it :( I love watching them when they official come out in America, but the spoilers are so hard to avoid when it takes so long.

Oh wow. I didn't realize more Miraculous was coming out yet. Have you heard anything about an official American release date? Whenever it's possible, I try to watch a show on my own before I watch reactions to it, but I don't know how long I'll be able to wait. Thank you for making this a non-timer reaction!
