🕑 Added 2024-03-01 22:54:36 +0000 UTCUpdate time! This is not actually everything, but it has been a week, so I figure players deserve a build that's cleaned up (plus there's additional bonus stuff). More info after the update log.

- Additional conversations have been added to Vhala's quest.
- Vhala's quest now grants additional influence for saves with lower ProN returns, as a mercy mechanic.
- Vhala's quest now grants more RP and other variables.
- Balia's quest now causes the training orcs in the base to upgrade, with four new training fights.
- Solely in the Divergent Church scenario, Bertricia has a Shining Sword to give the player.
- Solely in the New Religion scenario, Yelarel will give a Shining Sword during Sarai's quest.
- Upgraded keyboard/controller scripts thanks to Rachnera. The intro text and text describing key presses have been changed to account for this.
- Updated Elleani/Yarra scene thanks to Annikath.
- Additional bugfixing and polishing.
I think the above stuff is pretty self-explanatory. What isn't is the remaining work necessary for the public release: the most important part is fine-tuning Vhala's quest. People have reported various bugs, but there's been no discussion of the underlying mechanics and I haven't seen any optimization talk or reported numbers. I hope to get all of this in order before the public release.
In fact, the number of people saying they've been waiting multiple updates to play this release is a bit intimidating, so I'd really like to get everything polished up first. One element of that is the keyboard and controller script, which Rachnera has steadily continued to work on. If you're interested in this, please use it while playing and report anything amiss!
The number of things on my list is steadily decreasing. One that remains is maybe working on the portrait system in the base again; people have requested alternates for Robin, Zelica, and Sabitha. If you have other requests (generics, not new custom portraits) please mention them now so we don't have to fiddle with this too much.

You're suggesting expansions to the potion mini-quest? I appreciate the enthusiasm, but you're right, I'm not looking to expand it at this late stage.

Hectic week so far, apologies for the late .1 feedback. Kudos to Annikath - Yarra's leg looks much better in her Elleani scene and the tail is a nice touch. Kudos also to Rachnera - all of the issues I had with the controller script are fixed. If you're looking for data on breakpoints for Vhala's quest, I guess the easiest thing to do is to snapshot my quest and country scores after completing the quest. I have not looked under the hood yet, so this is purely based on my attempts to interpret the in-game prompts. My save is not perfectly optimised, in large part because I take the "saving Carina's men" route in chapter 2. I didn't spend any ProN in the quest, and I'm lacking a resource to make the Sanctity Plate, upgraded or no. I suspect that this is not going to fly, but the last night I have a small idea regarding the potion mini-quest. After the Hermit requests to get outside help, Robin could suggest two venues to find help: 1) Talk with her older female professor (the one that evaluates her crystal) in the Thaumaturgical Academy.. The teacher will write a formal request of help to her contact in the Last Output. As this is somehow official request, the Potion expert is more reluctant, so she asks for X Sx. 2) Ask around in the Square (Lies, lies!) Plaza. The guy/gal that sells goos (both have a similar look) gives the groupa tip regarding his/her talented parent in the Wilds. As it's an informal connection the price is lower: X/2 Sx. Well, I just want to share it with you. Greetings.
