While my focus has been on the KS, there are definitely other ways to help! Sorry to hear that KS won't support your payment options. One of the most direct ways anyone can support my work is by buying and reviewing the game on Steam, of course, but that's a long way off. Beyond that, the question is what interests you. We're going to put up new tiers later today that let backers influence the game, so you could choose one of those if you wanted to give a larger amount, then give through Patreon by temporarily increasing your patronage. That also works for general support. Thank you for all your support. ^-^

Is there any way to back this game outside of kickstarter? My payment options are not supported by kickstarter, but I still feel like being there to help.

i had no idea the stigma against rpg maker ran so deep, its something i think is stupid but if its that bad new engine is defo worth considering, i suppose it boils down to resources and time if you used rpg maker finding help and such would remain difficult and youve also mentioned the possibility of working to expand rpg maker, a new engine while giving u more freedom sounds like itd be much more costly than rpg maker if you think you have the resources for that then i say give it a try but if not then another rpg maker game is not something that bothers me one bit

Thank you, really appreciate it!

Illusionchaser

Backed, best of luck Sierra.

Patreon really wants to render itch.io as a link, apparently. =/ I tried to fix it again, or you can find it here: https://sierralee.itch.io/dont-save-the-princess-demo

Belly97

The Itch link, is incorrect

I'm extremely grateful for that support, but we've been carried thus far by patrons. Hopefully this will attract more attention, and after the project concludes well, more people will also trust me.

Well it’s already hit first goal so I’d say people have faith lol.

Sierra Lee

Yes, so many Kickstarters have behaved badly that people are understandably reluctant. That's why I'm starting small with a digital-only campaign I'm confident I can deliver, so that hopefully I can prove myself to more people.

The only Kickstarter I’ve backed in the past was Order of the Stick reprint drive. It was worth it even though it has yet to deliver all promised rewards. Hope you won’t repeat the mistake. I’ll review the kickstarter this weekend and see what I can contribute. Weekend starts tomorrow btw.
