May 11 Update
🕑 Added 2025-05-11 17:00:07 +0000 UTCThough this post will have a bit of a "post-vacation catchup" feeling, I've actually been back and busy for about a week now!
In terms of my vacation, while I did some things I've wanted to do, as usual after traveling my dominant feeling now is "never again". The positive way to reframe it is that I have renewed my appreciation for how optimized my home environment, I guess. Also tons of passion for working on things, so if I can catch up, that should be exploding forth!
(One note from my travels: I visited a salt mine, which was surprisingly interesting. Aside from the historical/cultural value, I got multiple ideas for designing mine dungeons in RPGs. Mines have a reputation for being conventional - you know, tunnels and carts - but I think drawing inspiration from the real world could create some memorable ones.)
The main thing in my sights is the postgame of TLS, which is a lot of work, only partially done. There are some pieces I've been plugging away at for a while, and I did work a little while on my vacation: I used idle time in airports and bus stations to write the sex scenes for the postgame. It makes me happy to think that people don't know the Serious Business Lady is typing absolutely deranged sex scenes. ^-^ Trin and Lilith get one, for example. There are actually 15 brand new sex scenes in the postgame, which may be excessive, but they're done!
The main task preventing me from focusing entirely on that is writing the fifth book/arc of Depthless Hunger. Not being able to get this done is a huge failure of my time management and I feel bad about this. =/ I have written a lot, but I try to maintain a minimum level of quality that requires editing. At least I feel I have transitioned back without too much loss of momentum.
What else? I posted the first monthly update for DStP and it's a public one. There is a fancy little roadmap (thanks to Annikath) to make me look like a professional.

Basically, May is going to be a pivotal month for me. I need to recover from my vacation and catch up on a lot of things, but hopefully I will be able to do more than that, getting ahead on my overall workload and setting up for the rest of the year.

Mostly typos: 1) Not a typo, but I think the intended message should have been: "Well, the two of you are quite a team, but I think by now *you know* that you can't hold this position forever." Good catch for more alternate dialogue! >The red flashes during the demon attack section of the final battle are really bright. Dunno. Would you be happy if I dialed down the Strength field of the event that controls that? >Wendis can get into negative stamina if she stays with Simon to face Hesther. IIRC this has been reported but I decided it wasn't worth tackling. If there's no way to really exploit this (I think?) and if you can't take more actions with negative stamina, I'm okay with this as a representation of her overexerting herself.
