Ashes

I was visiting my grandma in the nearby town. It wasn't raining for a long time so the grass was comepletely dry. Also the sun was showing it's beautiful smile all days long... I felt the first warm sunrays since the beginning of winter.
It wasn't only a perfect weather for people but also for wildfires . Everyday a different meadow was in flames. I decided to take advantage of it and recreate my visions.
I think that the photos speaks volumes especially during this hard time. The war took lives, houses, dreams. So many people was left with nothing... standing hopless in the ashes of their homes.

Pale beauty on blackened soil! The contrast to the soil is magnificent and some of the lines you created are oh so lovely!

Thank you so much :)

The higher contrast between white skin and dark ashes works very well. I peculiarly like the 4th picture where your feet leave the soil, time is suspended.

Such beauty even on such somber notes.
