🕑 Added 2023-05-21 19:14:11 +0000 UTCToday I was visiting the place of Battle of Grunwald - one of the biggest battles in medieval times that took place 15th July 1410. The battle was generally between Polish and Lithuanian armys against Teutonic Order. Polish side has won a great victory and reclaimed territory.
I really encourage you to read more about this battle if you didn't know about it already. There were a few fascinating events that took place before the battle.
Every year there's a big historical reconstruction event in this exact place and I am thinking about taking part in it the next year because I won't be able to make a dress for this year. I think in would be really fun to experience a medieval life for a few days with everyone (over 2 thousand people) wearing medieval clothes, living in tradicional camp, doing lots of medieval activities etc. This is my dream setting for photoshoot! What do you think?

Unfortunately the lists were closed May 10th so I won't be able to partake this year

I would think a simple outfit would work well for this year. Next year, go back to the medieval fair with a little more preparation. I say go for it this year if you can.

I love going to medieval fairs, even if only a fifth of the people dress up in traditional fashion. It just gives me this warm feeling of a simpler world. Going to an event where _all_ people dress up and you fully immerse into the surroundings would be an absolute dream of mine 🥰
