The Humid Air
🕑 Added 2023-06-12 18:31:57 +0000 UTCThe sky got darker. You could hear a loud thunder in the distance. Heavy clouds got lower and lower, covering a dense mountain forest. First rain drops... you can feel them on your skin as the rain's getting stronger and stronger.
It's warm. You take a deep breath. You can feel the humidity in your lungs, the smell of forest in your hair and gentle sound of rain hitting the leaves.
The forest is dark, mist is wandering between the trees but you're not scared. Then you see a clearance where the light timidly breaks through the crowns of trees. You are standing there admiring the view.
That's exactly where you are supposed to be.

Another brilliant, beautiful collection! I love how you use the darkness/moody tones along with the fog and light. I love how the light accentuates your beauty and draws our eyes directly there, but then we start to notice things in the background (the deer in the fog for example. Well done again, my dear!!
