Even in game the latest ones almost seem like the early undead shades and for lively people doing lively things bleached out desaturated skin looks uh...no bueno. And messes up your lighting no matter what you do.
Since my bestie @MrSunwhisper is making some wonderful naughtiness in blender so I fluffed up the basic Nelf babe texture to make it darker when rendered since Swan is PURPLE, like Manic Panic Ultra Violet purple and she can be lit without getting pasty. I'm finishing up a version with super skins and post O glow as well. This should work on the standard nelf model folks use in blender.
CHANGES: rough pixelation of original smoothed out and blended, shadows made more complementary and skin tone made to render actually purple in bright lighting, contrast reduced. Lip color made makeup free.

Skin texturing always looks like a horrifying "I make people suits in my basement" kind of deal and that's just how it is.
