This was so sweet, intimate and lovely. I’ve had a rough couple of days at work and a few more ahead (why I volunteered to work a 14.5 hour day AND my day off the next day beats me) but hearing encouragement, that I deserve to feel good during a time when I don’t feel that way just…I don’t think I can put into words properly how badly I needed to hear it. And the visuals during the countdown made things so vivid and perfect. The domesticity of the whole thing was just a lovely thing to fall into. Also if these Parker pens are the ones you’ve been *ahem* acquiring then I totally get it both for the craftsmanship and the price tag haha.
