LoveMachine 3 Preview... Again
🕑 Added 2022-08-29 22:28:09 +0000 UTCWhile eagerly waiting for Buttplug 6, I finished up just about everything else that goes into LoveMachine 3.
Here are the new features.
Plug and play
LoveMachine will now run Intiface on startup (unless it's already running). Basically, you can just start the game, turn on your device, and it should connect automatically. It will run as a background process, and its lifecycle will be tied to the game, so you don't have to worry about zombie processes either.
However, Intiface still fails to find devices some of the time. If that happens, click the Restart button in the plugin settings, and the server will reboot and start scanning again.
Of course, you can still do things the old way if that's what you prefer (start Intiface, connect, add your devices, disconnect, launch the game).
New vibration patterns
You can now program your vibrators to follow any waveform.
- Five presets: Sine, Triangle, Saw, Pulse, Constant
- By selecting "Custom", you can draw your own vibration patterns using sliders (shown in the screenshot below).
Offline devices
Offline devices are now also displayed in the plugin settings, if the Show Offline Devices option is turned on.
Orgasm shaking
Added orgasm checks to AGH, COM3D2, IO, OA and PH. I'm pleased to announce that orgasm shaking now works in every supported game.
Also fixed the HS2 plugin's orgasm check. It should now react to every orgasm animation.
Our Apartment update
Updated LoveMachine.OA to support the latest version of Our Apartment (0.3.1). The plugin is no longer compatible with older versions (including the demo version).
AFAIK, Buttplug 6 shouldn't be that far off, but if it isn't released by the end of September, I'll roll out LM3 without it and focus on Room Girl instead.

About the disconnect issue: You can open Plugin Settings while in VR by clicking on the game window and pressing F1. It should work the same as in desktop mode. If you send me your output_log from a gameplay where this problem occurs, I'll be able to tell whether it was caused by a disconnect or something else. About the freeze issue: In Plugin Settings, you will find an option called "Simplify animations". Try disabling it and restarting the game. I'm pretty sure it will solve your issue - except the plugin can't track the un-simplified titjob SLoop animations accurately. (Which is why I added this option in the first place, but evidently it interferes with some other mod in BR.) The good news is, you're not missing out on much anyway, because those animations blend back and forth between the boobas moving simultaneously and in opposite directions - and you can't emulate that with just one Handy. Sorry for the inconvenience though. I should probably disable this option by default as it's a pretty niche feature, reenacting titjobs with 2 Handys and stuff. By the way, I've already been thinking a lot about how to track complex animations like titjobs in KK and footjobs in COM3D2, but at this point I'm not convinced it would be worth the effort.

Thanks for the new version I am using the Handy. I have a problem when playing koikatsu, Everything is working fine but suddenly the Handy will stop moving as if it's disconnected. Clicking the new restart button from the plugin menu helps to fix this issue. I noticed that in VR I suffer from more disconnections compared to the normal version of the game. I am using better repack RX15 with lovemachine from this post 3.0.4. Since I cannot access the plugin menu in VR Is it possible to add a hotkey to the keyboard for the restart button from the plugin menu? Just like we have space and F8? Also I noticed that Lovemachine sometimes will not work with certain alternative animations - for example: If I choose a titjob it works, But if I switch to an alternative version the Handy will stop moving. I also noticed that the entire game stopped responding as well - The menus and buttons do not work and I need to change the alternative animation again and then everything is working again. I just want to be clear - I am not talking about specific animations like titjob or handjob but the alternative versions of the same animation. I think that it's not a problem with lovemachine but something with the game itself. Thanks.

Updated the attachment, the new patch (3.0.4) should take care of the issue.

I can repro. HSceneOptions seems to be the culprit. Not sure what exactly went wrong, but I'll look into it. Thanks for pointing this out. For the time being, setting "Quick Position Change" to Disabled seems to work well.
