November Challenge
🕑 Added 2022-11-10 15:28:56 +0000 UTCAs Catnip continues to create renders for Love Season Chapter 9, I decided to challenge myself to create an entire new game in one month! I'll post it here for you to play as soon as I have the first part done. It's fun to take some time to explore different ideas and I'm doing my best to finish it in time, which means I'm basically working from the time I wake up to the time I go to bed!
Here's what I've done so far in case you're curious:
- Day 1 = Created logline, the basic idea for the game. Finished a scene for Love Season.
- Day 2 = Refining the game idea, Started the beat sheet - writing all scenes and everyting that'll happen in the game from start to finish. Started creating the main characters.
- Day 3 = Finished all main characters. Started creating the teaser picture.
- Day 4 = Finished teaser, wrote all the story points ("Character X invites MC to do Y, can choose Y or Z. If Y...") for half of the first week (the game is devided in 4 weeks)
- Day 5 = Finished writing the first and second weeks. Realized the game needs a better story (was just going from one sex scene to another).
- Day 6 = Story adjustments, decided the twist, wrote half of week 3.
- Day 7 = Finished writing the description of all scenes until the end of the game. Wrote the first scene (with dialogues).
- Day 8 = Made 8 CGs (All using different characterts and scenes, that's why it took me so long).
- Day 9 = Wrote half of the first week (3k words). Created 3 NPCs for the first scene.
Now it's Day 10 and I'm trying to render the most CGs I can to see how much I can realistically do in a month to better prepare myself.
To help me with the renders, I'm putting to work a new artist I've been trainning for the last few months. Here's an example of her work:
