Process for "kuromi & my melody" 🌸 Illustrator + Blender + Octane 🌸

This is a process video of how I created "kuromi & my melody".
I am using the latest version of Adobe Illustrator which allows me to create 3D Objects within the software and then import them into Blender.
Unfortunately, I couldn't upload a voice over this week as I have been finishing up industry projects as well as university projects! Though this means that I will upload process videos as much as I can.

I'm curious about the "universal material" node. I use blender 4.2 and cycles and I've never come across it. Is this an octane specific offering?

Thank you Arch for uploading this! Could you also make a tutorial about how to install and use octane for blender? I've tried to use Octane multiple times but it crashes every time.
