Mid-Week Update: Game Start & Call for Save Games

This week I want to talk about the different ways you’ll be able to jump into XXXivilization Chapter 2 and I also have a small request.
You’ll be able to experience Chapter 2 content on release in three different ways.
- You’ll be able to import an existing save game from previous versions and start exploring the new content from where you last left off.
- You’ll be able to start from scratch directly at Chapter 2, in which case you’ll be presented with a pre-defined game state of what you might expect to have at the end of and average Chapter 1 playthrough in regard to resources, buildings, followers, and so on.
- You’ll of course also be able to start a completely new game, play through Chapter 1 and then seamlessly continue with Chapter 2.
My request has to do with the 2nd option. XXXivilization is a quite complex game that allows you to make tons of decisions during your playthrough. I want to ensure that no matter what you’ve chosen to do, your game will still work and be fun in Chapter 2. To do this, I need save games of play-throughs to test with, ideally ones where you have finished or almost finished the game.
You can send them to me via email at xxxivilization@gmail.com, link them in the #save-games channel of the XXXivilization discord server (if you are not concerned that other people can see them), send me a DM on Discord, or you can send me a Patreon message containing a link to your save game. I will treat them carefully and I promise there is absolutely no personally identifiable information in them.
