Update on Version 11, plans for the next Versions
🕑 Added 2018-08-26 14:22:39 +0000 UTC As I am getting close to finishing Version 11 I thought I would give a progress update again and also give you a bit more insight into my plans for the two versions after it.I currently expect to release Version 11 next weekend. As mentioned before it will contain the new Government system allowing you to make your prisoners to followers and appoint them to important positions in your government where each person will have a slightly different effect on your kingdom. Also there will be several minor events popping up depending on whom you assigned to which government position. I think this should be quite fun and give more depth to many of the side characters of the game.
Also contained in Version 11 will be a feature that I think especially those people that play the game for hours and hours will enjoy: It will be possible to start a New Game+ to reset your progress and start with a fresh character with additional points during character creation (Thank you to the person who gave me this idea as feedback!)
Next up, Version 12: I’ve got feedback from a lot of people that right now the later stages of the game are a bit boring since you just build up your army once and max your stats and then you steamroll over all enemies. So I came to the conclusion that before I add a third enemy kingdom to the game - which will extend the game length even further - I need to make the end game more fun and challenging than it is right now. I already have an idea how to do this but this will be basically an entire rework of the current balancing and the economy in the game so I need to take an entire release to get this right. I will see what other content I can fit into this version as well, not entirely decided yet.
Last but not least Version 13 will then finally bring the third enemy faction. I already have quite detailed plans for them and if I manage to write it as I have it currently in my head this will play out quite different and much more dynamic than the Futamazons and Church of Abstinencia but I don’t want to give away too much information before I have finalized my plan for them.

That's also a pretty cool idea to add something else for NG+, will have to think about content for it
This sounds fantastic. I love the idea of having more endgame challenge. It would also be very cool to see a NG+ having some more content that isn't in the normal game to give players a want to continue playing in the endgame.

Always found NG+ systems great ways to extend continued life into games. Can't wait to meet our new neighbors (toys) when v13 shows up.
