Hivegothic SE. 03 Menagerie map [20x20].
🕑 Added 2023-03-06 10:16:57 +0000 UTC"I heard birds chirping and stopped. No, it didn't seem to me, after crossing the round bridge I found myself in a menagerie. Dozens of bird cages, frolicking ptera-squirrels of unusual colors, some rare flowering plants and the quiet murmur of water filled the room with magical and inaccessible sounds of wildlife. It's scary to imagine how much it all cost, and how much of the spire's resources are spent on maintaining such gardens. But this was not the luxury that interested me and I moved on along the Spire passages."

The next map in the collection HiveGothic Spire is a Menagerie. Visually divided into two levels of height, the map contains many details that can become a plot feature in your scenario.
- A tree with injectors that can both pump it with a nutritious cocktail and vice versa extract valuable exotic juice.
- A lot of cages and free birds, similar to each other among which it is easy to hide the only one you need.
- A bowl of meat, near the pool, maybe a dangerous predator is hiding in the water? Or is he hiding among the branches of a tree? By the way, the fish in the pool may not be so harmless at all.
- A small sofa by the pond, next to the bridge - a great place to meet.
- Nimble and agile ptera-squirrels can cause problems or anxiety if for some reason the player has to go down and disturb them. For example, to get to the ventilation rack.
The location map has a standard size of 20x20.
The map has a connectivity icon (puzzle symbol) this means that it can be connected to any maps with the same symbol.

Yes, the map has a layout of 20x20 cells, but I like more precise control on the map, so I divide it in half. All maps with the Puzzle icon can be joined on any of the faces and they look quite good together.

How are you guys linking your maps together? Left to right? In squares?
