Update & Loyalty Rewards!
🕑 Added 2019-02-15 18:42:06 +0000 UTCOk, so first and foremost again is going to be an apology for the radio silence up until now as well as a big thank you to everyone that's still here to even listen to said apology.
We won't bore you with the details, but needless to say things still haven't improved. Life is proving to be a struggle for the both of us but we're intent on forging ahead anyway. We've been putting a lot of thought into Patreon, thoughts of pausing it to resume at a later date, even thoughts of abandoning it altogether and giving up on our future ambitions. Cue great inspirational speech boiling down to no, we're gonna soldier on.
BUT. We're not doing so blind to the fact that you guys are literally the best. You're still here, still supporting despite having received nothing since we broke the news about our ongoing issues.
We will make this up to you. Not in content that would be produced anyway come what may once things improve but instead in the form of an individual gift tailored to the people who have stuck by us through thick and thin.
So starting now, we're going to be drawing up a list of our most devoted supporters with the promise of eventually providing each of them with a free sketch commission to show our gratitude.
Obviously there are limitations to this, both in how quickly we'll progress through the list as well as the point at which someone qualifies (the latter having to be in place to prevent the list being impossibly long). For clarity, to qualify you must have achieved a lifetime support of $30+ and still be pledged to this patreon.
Once the list has been produced, work will commence on providing each of you with your reward. It's difficult to decide upon a fair way to move through the list especially considering how strict Patreon can be over random chance. Duration of support would likely make the most sense, but either way you can rest assured that, though it may take time, our most devoted followers will receive proof of our gratitude.
Furthermore, this isn't just retroactive. Those who continue to stick by us going forward will of course be added to the list as and when they become eligible. We're hoping to work through at minimum one gift per month but with any luck, if real life proves less obnoxious than it has been of late, the pace will pick up. For now, we're setting our expectations realistically attainable.
Thank you guys again for everything. We hope this is what you guys would consider some good news even if it's taken time for us to bring it to you. We'll be in touch soon to one of you so that we can get started on making things right and show our appreciation on a more personal level.

As long as you're not exacerbating your condition, that's a sweet deal, but don't go hurting yourself. I'd rather see you two well and able to work on your terms than try to overextend and provide freebie commissions to however many people might be supporting you. I'd imagine most of us are content to see an update and wish you well.
