Probably the most requested remaster of all time, Shelter from the Storm! Just a lil' something to tide you over as I work on several new projects!
This will be re-uploaded fresh on Friday so just be aware that any comments you make won't stick around on the final video!
Part 2 of The Toybox BTS coming tomorrow!

I used Winamp for the original. It lets you quick pause and unpause so you can sync a little more easily. Also, make sure to listen on stereo

Like when He sings heave Lads Ho Lads u Stop somewhere in between those lines in the old Version. Then u u play the New one, Switch to the Window with the old one and wait Till it Hits the Spot where u Paused it
NexusEye
What exactly is "that part"?
Panferno
Well i can't get it at the start but u basically have the old one rdy at Like 2 Seconds, start the New one and when it Hits that Part Play Play the old one. If it ain't syncd Up Just quickly Stop the one that is faster

Could you tell me how you got them to sync up? I tried a simultaneous youtube video player site but couldn't get them to sync because the intros were of different lengths.

That's a shame! It's a pretty catchy song as it is, but it could have been something really special with your current style and skill applied to it. I didn't appreciate how legally complicated these things can be. Thanks for the reply, friend!

I'm afraid that song is too old to be saved. It was made before I started using for-profit beats, so it's on a free 'YouTube use only' beat that I have no rights to and couldn't put anywhere like Spotify, etc. Also, lyrically it's very rough and I'm not very happy with it in hindsight!
Oh, that's some power you've added to this one ! Not to say the original wasn't good, but here, just with the bass and the several layers on the chorus, I kept on shivering throughout the whole song. Excellent job again mister !

Also Echoed heavy: That generations after us aren't cast into the cold Then the last stanza almost *entirely* in unison save for just a little bit of echo on the second line.

Holy hell, you are so right. I don't know if it was my timing or the song timing but some of the lines that were slightly out of sync made the next lines being in sync even more amazing. Unison: This storm won't crush our spirits like a tent beneath the snow Slightly off, making the echo effect even more pronounced: Every upper lip is stiff at 20 C below And then the next line was in unison. That made the 20C below line hit SO MUCH HARDER.

I played both synced just for fun and it sounds so freaking epic

Also, I can not *wait* for the MP3 of this version so I can listen to both back to back for hours on end :P

Holy crap in a handbasket, this is amazing. The new bass drum beat also really helps set the pacing of the verses. It's amazing. ETA: Well, not new. But now it's clearer.

The original is one of my favourite songs (not just nerdcore, music in general) and the first of the Stupendium's songs I bought and listened to it on repeat for weeks on end (along with a purpose for new London). I think it is a good remix of a great song. I know this is just personal preference but the autotuning at the start and the stronger drum beat get in the way of the voice. When I heard the original it felt more 'real', like someone actually trying to explain their situation and justify their actions and now my brain is distracted, going 'dance song, dance song'. It just doesn't fire my imagination the way the first version did. Could just be me being a stick in the mud. Still good though (actually haven't known Stupendium to release a 'bad' song, just not to my personal liking. Don't know of any other artist I can say that of).

Your first collab with Dan was what introduced me to you in the first place, but I was listening to this song yesterday and I was thinking about how superb this song is. While you're remaking things... any chance of an update to "And Then I Prey" ?
This is a stunning update for an already amazing song!
