So, after nearly 24 hours of constant rendering of raw images I stitched together this short clip showing the activation of an automated maintenance cycle of the mannequin conversion chamber (the Alcove).
This cycle is automatically triggered after a period of inactivity during the PLA selection phase. In order to not block the chamber from being used by another subject, the baselined mannequin is removed from the chamber and it is then moved to temporary storage, where it remains until a suitable PLA is picked and installed.
As soon as the baselined mannequin is removed, the Alcove performs auto diagnostics and resets to allow another volunteer to take their first step towards the wonderful world of fashion modelling!

That’s the type of movie I was talking about. That it would have been nice if the camera had stayed zoomed out so we could see the rest of her body transform. But yeah. Great animations.

Actually.. None... The system timed out during PLA selection phase as no PLA was selected. That's why the still baselined mannequin was automatically transferred to temporary storage.

D'ohhh... TF movies... *faints* Heh... sure.. those would be great... First I would have to have the skills needed to make them though... And Dreamworks rendering farm... :D

You always improve your technique. I remember the doll TF video you did a few years ago, and this is a big step up in the quality of the render, and the doll TF was fantastic.
