@NoSo far the only episode that really got me listening was the Brexit Episode, thats the only one so far I liked. I listen to his episodes once and thats it. And its just him talking and debating himself on topics and that guy Rucka saying lets send him/her a free tshirt and thats that. Every episode the same shtick. He doesnt have cohosts he has moderators. Dicks show is more enjoyable.

I haven't tried it - I was off of BPU for a couple months and when I came back it was already gone and I was clueless. I never even checked out his new stuff, just glad I found Dick and Sean's first. Is it any good at all?

No Good

I always love when a (The) Dick Show has some background on the old podcast and what happened. It's like seeing a mystery slowly unfold. Even though I love it, I know if it kept happening too many times it could start to seem petty or something, but I think there's at least one more rant about Biggest Problem left in this show. Since I suspect so many people, like me, were introduced to Dick (and Shonn) through it.

Im a fan of both of them, but lately the Maddox podcast with the debates is getting harder and harder to listen to. He argues with himself on topics and has that guy Rucka Rucka Ali telling the stale Tshirt bit which he is trying to force feed listeners. I think its fucked up what Maddox did and like many people I was one of his readers since his early webpage. But what he did to Dick is just beyond messed up. Its left a sour taste in my mouth. I listen to both podcasts but The Dick Show is fun to listen to but the Debate show is hard to swallow.

I'm working my way through the last 6 episodes of the old show currently and Dick, they're a fucking struggle to get through man. You sound fizzled out and defeated half of the time and it's quite clear no one wants to be there. I'm so glad Maddox didn't permanently extinguish your fire, cos you're a blaze baby! Well, we may not know the full story on the ending of the old podcast, but I never expected as much anyway, because it's none of our business to begin with. However, I am fully satisfied with Dick's explanation on things regarding Maddox. It must have been really difficult working with someone like him. I could sense that he was a control freak and all, but damn. That said, this was the best episode yet. Thanks for not holding it in anymore and giving us a better understanding on why things happened the way that they did.

I love your enthusiasm at the start of every show - like it's the first episode, every time. I hear what you're saying about everybody having an innate belief, but so what? There are degrees and levels of indocrination that make some of them more outrageous and dangerous than others. Killing for the government is not the same as wanting to murder people en masse because they insulted your chosen deity. The length and outcome of beliefs vary in terms of how durable they are, and religious beliefs tend to be harder to break. So sure, we have that part in us somewhere, but maybe some woo woo isn't so bad compared to the rest of our history.

Oh man, the goss is hot. Sad part is I believe every part of it, and this is after being a Maddox fan since the early 00's. Glad I stopped following him on every platform (Youtube, Twitch, Twitter, Facebook, you name it) after his dogshittery at the end of the old podcast. What a self serving scumbag in every sense of the word.
