Also the whole system with ISP's is fucked like you say, I don't know about other places but where I'm at it's basically A or B. Cable or phone, Comcast cable internet, or Century Link DSL. You say it's impossible to change, but if it could change, that would be great. Free market for ISP's would solve a lot. The internet is still new, its the wild west, I wonder if it will look the same or drastically different 100 years from now.
I haven't purposely looked at net neutrality for the big details but from what I have heard it's about companies putting their own content first above rivals. If Comcast can put their video streaming above Netflix, why wouldn't they? Just saying cause you didn't touch on this really. Maybe I'm wrong in what I've heard.
