I prefer Coke over Diet Coke, but anyway, I've had to learn to always taste-test the drink before pulling away from the drive-thru window. I've gotten some nasty-ass fast-food Cokes sometimes (maybe they didn't clean the dispenser, or the mix of syrup to soda water is wrong, etc.), and I can only nip it in the bud by sitting at the window and taking a sip. If it sucks, they have to replace it or I won't leave. If there are people waiting behind me, all the better. It will pressure the employees to get it right.
