The unintelligent, base way Asterios tries to manipulate an argument in his favour has surprised me. He made a massive fuck-up trying to pander to the pro-military (simple folk, easily patronised), and then when he's caught out he just tries to deflect Dick's ire by talking about tits (simple man, easily patronised). That's clearly what people with right wing beliefs are to him - simple idiots. He's like the type species of the liberal genus because his attitude encapsulates why no matter how loud he shouts the people he's patronising will always ignore and resist him.

Asterios did have some moments of silly hyperbole, notably when talking about the military, but I'm glad he was in this episode. He added some variety and debate to the issues and prevented it from becoming an echo chamber.

Jimmy isn't the main character of the show and if he was that stutter would get pretty old pretty fast

I'd just like to say, the amount of people following on facebook, reddit, etc, does not accurately reflect the amount of listeners your show has. I know 6 people who listen who have absolutely no involvement in the community, and nor do I. Mostly because we're mature adults who have better things to focus our attention on. I'll speak for all of us when I say that we love the show, and we're all contributing.

Obviously that guy with the stutter has never watched South Park. I myself stutter now and then; it can be quite annoying. But Jimmy Valmer is a great character. It's just written really well. The problem with most characters that are shoe horned in for diversity is that their writers suck ass.

Dick is so used to living in big cities that he doesn't know what real racists look like. Trump not denouncing white nationalists is a big deal. Dick's inability to accept that Nazis are real and that there's value in denouncing them is embarrassing.

Asterios is a better co-host than Maddox ever was because he disagrees AND he's funny.

I personally was glad to get another politically charged episode. It's been a while.

I loved asterios being on the show. I disagree with pretty much everything he says, but it's very entertaining to hear two comedians argue opposite sides.

Jesus Christ, the amount of crosswords before this episode must've been staggering.

I usually find Asterios painfully annoying, but this episode was hilarious because he illustrated the illogical left perfectly. I laughed my ass off until the too long/slow goss segment at the end.

Trans people suicide rates are not explained by the way society treats them because there is nothing analogous to them in society, no other minority group that has the same suicide rates. So it seems that they commit suicide largely for a different reason.

I'm already sick of asterios. The longer this podcast goes on and the more he comes on the more sick I get of him. He's tolerable when he's not trying to talk politics and it occasionally funny but the last 2 or 3 times I'm just fucking sick of his ass and his over the top yelling about shit.

In all fairness though, Jews are trying to destroy the white race. You'd have to be pretty dense not to see it.
