I've listened to WATP for a while and never knew what Karl looks like until I watched the video version of this. He looks wildly different from all of the different versions I imagined. I knew he would be ugly, but it's a totally different kind of fuck ugly than I thought.

Sometimes I think the younger generations get huffy and shit talk WATP because they never listened to old school shock jock radio schlock. It's pretty obviously leaning into those old radio tropes, but if you grew up on podcasts and rich parents listening to NPR I can see why they'd think a stinger is cheesy.
