I know where Maddox got that fake wallet idea. Many years ago, Roger Barr had his internet show, Doc Mock's Movie Mausoleum. Maddox was a guest on one episode where they watched a video called "Senior Power"- a self defense video for elderly people. One of the tips in the video instructed seniors to carry a fake wallet with fake money in case they got mugged. Immediately after watching this, Maddox told Roger that a fake wallet was a really good idea in case you're ever in an area with "a lot of pickpockets".
